The HUAWEI FreeClip 2 S Space Silver is the pair you buy when you want people to ask what is on your ear. Its charging case is a rounded, pearl-bright mirror finished over more than a hundred separate steps, and the clip that holds it to you is liquid silicone tuned to be a quarter softer than the previous generation. Under the surface, a 10.8 mm dual-diaphragm driver and an AI audio chip carry the weight, and the whole earbud lands at 5.1 g. In stock now at Totot for the UAE.

HUAWEI FreeClip 2 S Space Silver: Mirrored Case, Softer Bridge
Huawei retired the flat pill-shaped charger from the standard FreeClip 2 and replaced it with something closer to a polished stone. The new shell is round, mirror-bright, and roomier by a fifth, which leaves space for a ring or a pair of studs to travel alongside the earbuds rather than loose in a bag.
The clip received the same attention. Roughly fifty finishing operations produced a bridge with no ridges and a noticeably gentler silicone compound, so the pressure that most clip-on designs build up over an hour largely disappears here.
Where the Bass Comes From
The usual complaint about earbuds that sit outside the canal is that music arrives thin. Huawei answers with a 10.8 mm driver carrying two diaphragms on a shared dual-magnet circuit, which it rates at twice the volume and twice the low-frequency output of the first FreeClip. The response range runs the full 20 Hz to 20 kHz span.
Feeding it is a third-generation AI NPU with about ten times the compute of the chip it replaces, doing the sound shaping and voice processing on the earbud itself instead of offloading it to a phone.
Ears Open, Sound Contained
The Comfort Bean rests against the ear rather than sealing it, its shape derived from over 10,000 ear scans. You hear the doorbell, the barista, the person merging into your lane. A reverse sound-wave system works the other direction, cutting how much of your audio escapes so a quiet office stays quiet.
Calls in Noisy Places
Three microphones feed multi-channel DNN algorithms that separate speech from background before it leaves your end of the line. On the listening side, Adaptive Volume tracks the room and the source material and trims the level across three steps, and Adaptive Voice Enhancement pushes vocals forward when the environment gets loud.
Taps, Swipes and a Nod
Two taps handle play, pause, answer and hang up. Three taps jump to the next track. Sliding a finger along the bud moves the volume. Calls can also be taken or dismissed with a nod or a shake of the head, which is genuinely useful when both hands are busy. All of it can be reassigned inside HUAWEI Audio Connect.
Charging and Endurance
A full charge runs nine hours of music, and the case extends that to 38. When you are empty and leaving, ten minutes returns three hours of playback. Top the case up over USB-C, or drop it on a wireless pad at up to 3 W.
Who the HUAWEI FreeClip 2 S Space Silver Suits
Space Silver is the version that behaves like an accessory. The pale mirror throws light from almost any angle, so it stays visible against dark hair and reads as a small piece of metal jewellery rather than a piece of tech clipped on as an afterthought.
It pairs particularly well with silver or white-gold watches and earrings, which is not a trivial point for a product designed to be worn in the open all day. The trade-off is honest: a light mirror shows fingerprints sooner than a dark one, so it wants an occasional wipe. If you would rather it disappeared, the Deepsea Blue is the discreet option.

Frequently Asked Questions
Does the Space Silver mark easily?
The case is a polished mirror, so fingerprints land on it more readily than on the darker finish. A microfibre wipe clears it in seconds, and the coating itself is hard-wearing, but if you dislike cleaning a case this is worth knowing before you buy.
Is the FreeClip 2 S actually an upgrade over the FreeClip 2?
On sound, no, the acoustics carry over. The upgrade is physical: a rounder mirrored case with a fifth more room, a smoother and softer bridge, and a metallic treatment throughout. Everything is itemised on the official HUAWEI product page.
Can I wear only one earbud?
Yes. Automatic left-right recognition works out which ear it is sitting on, so either bud goes in either ear without setting anything.
Are they safe to wear in the gym?
The earbuds carry an IP57 rating covering sweat, rain and splashes, and the clip holds without pressing into the canal. The case is IP54, so keep that out of the way of water.
Which phones do they support?
Bluetooth 6.0 covers iOS and Android alike, with two devices connected at once and HUAWEI Audio Connect available on both platforms for gestures and equaliser settings.
What if I want noise cancellation instead?
Open-ear designs deliberately do not seal, so there is no ANC here. For active cancellation look at the HUAWEI FreeBuds Pro 5 instead.
