The Green Lion Monica is a 40W Bluetooth party speaker that comes with its own wireless microphone, so it works for karaoke at home, a birthday in the majlis or a short speech at a family gathering. Green Lion lists dual 3-inch full-range drivers, Bluetooth 5.3, dynamic RGB lighting, TWS stereo pairing, an IPX4 rating, USB-C charging and up to 6 hours of playtime. USB, TF card and AUX inputs cover almost any music source, from a phone to a flash drive or a TV.
Table of Contents
Karaoke with the included wireless microphone
Green Lion includes a wireless microphone with the Green Lion Monica, which is what sets it apart from a plain Bluetooth speaker. Play a backing track from YouTube or a karaoke app on your phone over Bluetooth, sing into the microphone, and the speaker plays both together. Because the microphone is wireless, the singer does not have to stand next to the speaker. Green Lion does not publish the microphone range, frequency or battery details on its product page. Keep the microphone away from the front of the speaker at high volume to avoid feedback whistle.
40W from dual 3-inch drivers
Green Lion rates the Green Lion Monica at 40W through dual 3-inch full-range drivers. It does not say whether 40W is continuous (RMS) or peak power. Full-range drivers handle bass, mids and treble together, which keeps voices clear for karaoke and speeches; there is no separate tweeter or subwoofer. Three audio modes, Bass, EQ and Normal, plus a bass boost mode let you push the low end for party music or keep the sound neutral for speech.
RGB lighting and TWS pairing
Dynamic RGB lighting effects on the Green Lion Monica are a big part of its appeal at a party or a children’s birthday, turning the speaker into a light source for the room. TWS stereo pairing links two Green Lion Monica speakers as a left and right pair, for wider sound in a larger majlis or hall. Both speakers need to be the same model for TWS to work.
Bluetooth 5.3, USB, TF and AUX
Besides Bluetooth 5.3, the speaker plays music from a USB flash drive or a TF (microSD) card, and an AUX input takes a cable from a laptop, a TV or an older phone. That makes the Green Lion Monica handy in a majlis where guests bring music on a flash drive, or next to a TV for a karaoke night from the big screen. Green Lion does not publish the Bluetooth range on its product page.
Battery, charging and splash resistance
Green Lion quotes up to 6 hours of playtime. As with any party speaker, loud volume, heavy bass and the RGB lights shorten that, so expect less at full party volume. The speaker charges over USB-C. Green Lion does not publish the battery capacity, the charging time, the dimensions or the weight on its product page. The Green Lion Monica is rated IPX4, which means it resists splashes from any direction, not immersion.
Who This Is Not For
Skip the Green Lion Monica if you need long battery life: up to 6 hours is short for a full-day trip, and loud use cuts it further. IPX4 covers splashes only, so keep it away from the pool edge and never submerge it. Green Lion does not list hands-free calling, so it is not a conference-call speaker. One microphone is included, so duets mean passing it between singers. And Green Lion does not state whether 40W is RMS or peak.
