The Green Lion Lumex LED Light is a beige battery lantern with an LED string light that reels out of its own body. Green Lion lists 150 lm of brightness from 2835 SMD LEDs, a colour temperature range of 1800 to 4000K and three lantern modes: Flame, White and Warm. The 10 m cord reel carries 95 RGB LEDs with RGB, Flash and Warm modes. An 1800mAh battery gives 6 to 12 hours of use after a 4-hour charge over Type-C, and a USB-A port outputs 5V 1A for a small top-up of your phone.

150 lm: light for a gathering, not a work light
Green Lion rates the Green Lion Lumex LED Light at 150 lm. That is enough to light a camping table, faces around a majlis outdoors or a balcony in the evening, and to create atmosphere. It is not a floodlight for a whole campsite or for working on a car at night. The colour temperature runs from 1800K to 4000K: Flame mode gives a flickering, candle-like orange glow at the warm end, Warm gives a steady soft light, and White is the cooler, clearer option for reading or finding things in a bag.
A 10m LED string that reels out of the body
The feature that sets the Green Lion Lumex LED Light apart is the cord reel. Green Lion lists a 10 m reel carrying 95 RGB LEDs, which you pull out and drape around a tent, a gazebo, a tree or a dining table. The string has its own modes, RGB, Flash and Warm, so you can keep the lantern on a warm glow while the string adds colour. Because the string stays attached to the lantern, the lantern has to sit within 10 m of the furthest point you want to light, and reeling it back in takes a few minutes.
1800mAh battery, 6 to 12 hours
A built-in 1800mAh battery powers the Green Lion Lumex LED Light, and Green Lion quotes 6 to 12 hours of working time after a 4-hour charge. Green Lion does not say which mode gives which runtime, so expect the shorter figure with the string lit and the lantern on a bright setting, and the longer one on a single low mode. Power is listed at 10W. For a weekend trip, charge it fully at home before you leave and switch off the string when you do not need it.
Type-C charging and USB-A output
Charging is over a Type-C port, so the same cable you use for your phone works. Green Lion lists a 5V 1A USB-A output, which lets the Green Lion Lumex LED Light give a phone a small emergency top-up. With an 1800mAh battery that is a short boost to get you through the evening, not a full charge, and every minute spent charging a phone shortens the time the light can run. Treat it as a lantern first and a backup power source second.
Built for camping and outdoor evenings
The body of the Green Lion Lumex LED Light is made of ABS, PC and silicone, and a silicone lanyard lets you hang it from a tent loop, a branch or a hook under a shade. Green Lion describes it as camping friendly. The beige finish looks natural next to canvas tents, rattan furniture and outdoor cushions, and shows less dust than a white lantern. Green Lion does not publish a water resistance rating, a weight or the dimensions, so keep it out of rain and away from sprinklers.
Who This Is Not For
The Green Lion Lumex LED Light is not a work light: 150 lm will not light a whole campsite or a car repair at night. Green Lion does not publish a water resistance rating, so it is not for use in rain or near pool spray. The LED string stays attached to the lantern, limiting it to a 10 m reach, and the 1800mAh battery gives only a small phone top-up. Weight and dimensions are not published.
