The Bose SoundLink Plus Citrus Yellow is the limited edition finish of a speaker Bose launched in June 2025, and the colour was sold directly through Bose rather than through general retail. Underneath the yellow it is the same tough, IP67-rated portable speaker built to sit between the pocketable Flex and the much larger Max.

SoundLink Plus Citrus Yellow: Why Citrus Yellow Is Harder to Find
The Bose SoundLink Plus Citrus Yellow is one of three finishes Bose released: Black and Blue Dusk went to Amazon and general retailers, while Citrus Yellow was designated a limited edition colour available directly from Bose. Same price, same hardware, far smaller distribution.
That matters practically rather than just for collectors. A bright speaker is easier to find on a beach, at a campsite or in a park at dusk, and considerably harder to leave behind by accident than a black one lying on dark ground.
SoundLink Plus Citrus Yellow: Steel Grille, Silicone Shell, Rope Loop
The body is wrapped in soft-touch silicone that grips rather than slips in a wet hand, and the front is a powder-coated steel grille rather than fabric — fabric absorbs water and holds sand. A braided nylon rope loop on the side lets you carry it in one finger or hang it from a tent pole, a branch or a bike frame.
Bose rates the shell as shock and rust resistant on top of the water and dust sealing, which is the part that matters after the third or fourth time it slides off a table.
SoundLink Plus Citrus Yellow: What IP67 Actually Guarantees
The rating is worth understanding rather than skimming. The 6 means completely dust-tight, with no ingress at all. The 7 means the speaker survives full immersion in water up to one metre deep for thirty minutes.
In practice that covers everything a portable speaker realistically meets: rain, pool splashes, being knocked into shallow water, sand at the beach, and a rinse under the tap afterwards. It is a meaningfully higher standard than the splash-resistant ratings most speakers carry.
SoundLink Plus Citrus Yellow: 20 Hours and a Port That Gives Power Back
Battery life is rated at up to 20 hours, with a full recharge taking roughly five hours over USB-C. The genuinely useful detail is that the USB-C port works in both directions: you can plug a phone into the speaker and charge it from the speaker’s battery. On a long day outdoors that turns the speaker into a power bank you were carrying anyway.
Bose SoundLink Plus Citrus Yellow: Pairing and the App
Bluetooth multipoint holds two source devices at once, so a laptop and a phone can both stay connected and you switch by simply pressing play. Google Fast Pair shortens the first connection on Android to a single tap.
The Bose app adds a three-band EQ for bass, midrange and treble, shows the exact battery percentage, and lets you assign a shortcut button. Two SoundLink Plus units can be linked in Stereo Mode for genuine left and right channels, or Party Mode to play the same audio from both. Full details are on the official Bose SoundLink Plus page.

FAQ – Bose SoundLink Plus Citrus Yellow
Can it really go in the pool?
IP67 means it survives full immersion to one metre for half an hour, so a drop into a pool is recoverable. It is not designed to be used underwater or left submerged.
Is the SoundLink Plus Citrus Yellow different from the other colours in any way?
Only visually. The hardware, drivers, battery and features are identical to Black and Blue Dusk. It was simply distributed as a limited edition finish.
Can I charge my phone from it?
Yes. The USB-C port supports charge out, so the speaker doubles as a power bank when you need it.
How does the SoundLink Plus Citrus Yellow compare to the Flex?
The Plus is deeper and heavier, and that extra cabinet volume produces noticeably more bass and higher output. The Flex wins on pure portability.
Does it need Wi-Fi or an app to work?
No. It pairs over Bluetooth and plays immediately. The Bose app only adds EQ, battery detail and shortcuts.
Does Totot deliver across the UAE?
Yes. We ship nationwide via Aramex for a fixed AED 10, with cash on delivery, Tabby and Tamara available at checkout.
