The Apple iPad 11 A16 128GB Wi-Fi Blue is the TDRA-approved UAE version of Apple’s standard 11-inch iPad, in Blue with 128GB of storage and Wi-Fi only. Apple fits it with an 11-inch Liquid Retina display, the A16 chip, a 12MP Center Stage front camera on the landscape edge, Touch ID in the top button and USB-C. Apple rates it at up to 10 hours of web browsing or video on Wi-Fi, and in the UAE box you get both the USB-C cable and a 20W power adapter. It is the simplest way into iPadOS for study, streaming, notes and video calls.

Why the Blue finish
On the iPad 11 A16 128GB Wi-Fi Blue, Blue is one of four colours Apple offers on the iPad (A16), next to Silver, Pink and Yellow. It is a soft, light blue on the aluminium back rather than a deep navy, and the front stays a black bezel around the screen whichever colour you choose. It suits students and families who want a tablet that is easy to spot on a desk or in a school bag without being as loud as Yellow. A light anodised colour hides fine scratches and fingerprints better than a dark one. If you prefer a neutral look that matches any case or office, Silver is the quieter choice.
TDRA version and Wi-Fi only
This iPad 11 A16 128GB Wi-Fi Blue is the TDRA-approved UAE unit, cleared for sale in the Emirates. It is the Wi-Fi model, so there is no SIM and no eSIM; away from home it goes online through a phone hotspot. Apple sells a separate Wi-Fi + Cellular version with 5G and eSIM, which weighs 481 g instead of 477 g. Wireless on this model is Wi-Fi 6 (802.11ax) with 2×2 MIMO and Bluetooth 5.3. Because it is the TDRA version, the iPad 11 A16 128GB Wi-Fi Blue carries the local agent warranty honoured at Apple authorised service centres in the UAE, plus a 1-year warranty from Totot.
11-inch Liquid Retina display
The display is an 11-inch Liquid Retina IPS panel, 10.86 inches measured as a rectangle, at 2360 by 1640 pixels and 264 ppi. Apple lists 500 nits brightness, True Tone and a fingerprint-resistant oleophobic coating. That is comfortable indoors and in shade, but harder work in direct afternoon sun. Apple does not list wide colour (P3), a fully laminated screen, an anti-reflective coating or ProMotion for this model; those belong to iPad Air and iPad Pro. For reading, video and handwriting notes the iPad 11 A16 128GB Wi-Fi Blue screen is sharp and even.
A16 chip and 128GB storage
Apple gives the iPad 11 A16 128GB Wi-Fi Blue the A16 chip with a 5-core CPU, a 4-core GPU and a 16-core Neural Engine. That is plenty for browsing, streaming, split-screen notes, school apps and light photo editing. Apple does not list the amount of RAM. Apple Intelligence is not listed for this model; Apple names iPads with A17 Pro or M-series chips for those features. Storage is 128GB, the smallest of the 128GB, 256GB and 512GB options, and no iPad takes a memory card, so 128GB suits apps, documents and streaming more than large offline video libraries.
Cameras, audio and video calls
The iPad 11 A16 128GB Wi-Fi Blue front camera is a 12MP Center Stage camera at f/2.4, placed on the landscape edge so you are centred on calls when the iPad sits in a case or stand. The rear camera is a 12MP wide at f/1.8 with up to 5x digital zoom, good for scanning documents and quick photos. Video records in 4K at 24, 25, 30 or 60 fps, with 1080p slow motion at 120 or 240 fps. Landscape stereo speakers and dual microphones handle classes, meetings and films.
Battery, Pencil and what is in the box
The iPad 11 A16 128GB Wi-Fi Blue built-in 28.93 Wh battery is rated by Apple at up to 10 hours of web browsing or video on Wi-Fi; that figure describes one task run to empty, so a mixed day of calls and apps will be shorter. Charging is through USB-C, and the UAE box includes a 1 m USB-C cable and a 20W USB-C power adapter. For drawing and notes, Apple lists Apple Pencil (USB-C) and Apple Pencil (1st generation), which needs a USB-C to Apple Pencil adapter; neither Pencil is included.
Who This Is Not For
The iPad 11 A16 128GB Wi-Fi Blue is not the right tablet if you want a laminated, anti-reflective or 120Hz ProMotion screen; Apple lists none of those here, and the gap under the glass is most noticeable when drawing. It does not have mobile data, so you need Wi-Fi or a hotspot. Apple Intelligence is not listed for this model. It has Touch ID, not Face ID. And for sustained 4K editing or heavy creative apps, an M-series iPad Air or iPad Pro is the better tool; 128GB will also fill quickly if you store a lot of video offline.
