The Amazfit Bip 6 is Amazfit’s everyday smartwatch: a large 1.97-inch AMOLED screen, an aluminium frame, built-in GPS with free downloadable maps, Bluetooth calling and battery life measured in days rather than hours. Amazfit rates it at up to 14 days in typical use. This page is the Black version, the most versatile of the five Amazfit colours. Amazfit makes the Amazfit Bip 6 in a single size; the 46mm in the name refers to its 46.3mm case length.

Amazfit Bip 6 Display and Design

The screen is a 1.97-inch AMOLED panel at 390 x 450 pixels (302 PPI) with a peak brightness of up to 2,000 nits, covered by tempered glass with an anti-fingerprint coating. Peak brightness is the maximum the panel reaches, which is what helps readability in direct UAE sunlight.

The frame is aluminium alloy and the case is fibre-reinforced polymer. The case measures 46.3 x 40.2 x 10.45mm and weighs 27.9 g without the strap, so the Amazfit Bip 6 stays comfortable for sleep tracking. There are two physical buttons and a 22mm liquid silicone strap with a classic pin buckle that fits wrists from 130 to 195mm.

Why Black

Black is the colour that works everywhere: with a suit in the office, with gym kit, and with a thobe or kandura. A black case and strap also hide the scuffs and dust that a sports watch collects, and the dark frame blends into the AMOLED screen so the display looks larger.

Because the strap is a standard 22mm width, you can change the look later without replacing the watch. If you want a lighter or brighter case instead, Amazfit also makes the Amazfit Bip 6 in Stone, Red and Blush.

Battery Life, with Amazfit’s Conditions

Amazfit lists up to 14 days in typical use, up to 6 days in heavy use, up to 26 days in Battery Saver mode and up to 32 hours of continuous GPS, from a 340mAh battery. Typical use, in Amazfit’s test, means heart rate measured every 10 minutes, sleep tracking on, a static watch face, 150 notifications a day, 30 minutes of Bluetooth calls a week and three 30-minute GPS workouts a week.

Heavy use means heart rate every minute, stress and sleep breathing monitoring on, 60 minutes of calls a week and more screen time. Battery Saver turns off most health monitoring and GPS. Charging takes about 1.5 to 2.5 hours on the magnetic charging base.

GPS, Maps and 140+ Sport Modes

The Amazfit Bip 6 has built-in GPS supporting five satellite systems, and you can download free offline maps for outdoor activities. Amazfit’s notes are specific: the map must match your real location, and turn-by-turn navigation follows a route file you import; you cannot tap a point on the map to navigate to it. Indoor positioning is not supported.

There are more than 140 sport modes, including HYROX Race, padel and track running. In Strength Training mode the watch recognises 25 exercises and counts reps, sets and rest. Zepp Coach builds adaptive training plans, including running plans from 3K up to the full marathon, and data syncs to Strava, adidas Running, komoot, Google Fit and Apple Health.

Calls, Zepp Flow and Health Tracking

With its microphone and speaker, the Amazfit Bip 6 can make and answer Bluetooth calls from your phone. Zepp Flow is a voice assistant that controls settings and can dictate message replies; Amazfit lists English, French, German, Italian, Spanish, Japanese, Korean and Portuguese, and message replies require an Android phone.

Amazfit’s BioTracker sensor tracks heart rate, blood-oxygen and stress 24/7 when enabled in the Zepp App, alongside sleep stages, naps, sleep HRV, a daily Readiness score and PAI. Amazfit states that the watch is not a medical device and readings are for reference only.

Who This Is Not For

Arabic is not among the languages Amazfit lists for Zepp Flow voice control, and spoken turn-by-turn directions are available in English and Chinese only. Message replies and WhatsApp speech-to-text work only with Android phones.

The box has a magnetic charging base but no cable, so you need your own USB-C cable. Offline maps show where you are and follow imported routes, but they are not full point-to-point navigation. And while 5 ATM covers swimming, Amazfit advises removing the watch for hot showers and saunas.
