The PS5 Slim Digital 1TB US Version is the 2023 Slim PlayStation 5 Digital Edition, model CFI-2015, packed for the US market. Its main advantage over the newer CFI-2116 is storage: a 1 TB SSD instead of 825 GB. Sony launched this Slim in the US in November 2023; it has no disc drive and comes with a white DualSense controller.

1 TB against 825 GB
The CFI-2015 keeps the 1 TB SSD that Sony later cut to 825 GB on the CFI-2116 Digital Edition. The extra space holds one or two more large games before you need to delete or move anything, and the M.2 slot is still there for a further NVMe drive. Performance is the same on both models.
Buying the US version in the UAE
Games and PSN work on a US console with any account region, so you can sign in with your UAE account and keep your library. The US box ships with a two-pin US cord; the console accepts a standard figure-8 power cord, so a local cord or adapter is needed. Warranty is Totot’s 1 year only, because Sony’s UAE agent does not cover imported units.
What it runs
Inside are an eight-core AMD Zen 2 CPU, a 10 TFLOPS RDNA 2 GPU and 16 GB of GDDR6, as on every standard PS5. It outputs up to 4K at 120 Hz with HDR on supported TVs, and has Wi-Fi 6, Bluetooth 5.1 and Ethernet. The console weighs about 2.6 kg.
Discs and the stand
There is no disc drive, but Sony’s optional Disc Drive for the Slim attaches later. Two horizontal feet are included; the vertical stand is sold separately.
Who This Is Not For
It cannot play discs without the separate drive. The US power cord does not fit UAE sockets without an adapter or a local cord. It is not covered by the UAE agent. And if you want the latest CFI-2116 with the UAE agent warranty, choose our TDRA version.
