The Green Lion Snail Mount is a compact magnetic car phone holder for phones that support MagSafe. Instead of spring arms or a clamp, it holds the phone with 17 N52 neodymium magnets set in a tough ABS body, so you place the phone on it with one hand and pull it off just as easily. A twist-lock telescopic rod hidden inside the body lets you raise the phone to the height you want, and a dual-axis joint with a 360° rotating base turns it to any angle for navigation or hands-free calls. The Green Lion Snail Mount comes in black.

17 N52 magnets and MagSafe compatibility
Green Lion lists the magnets as N52 x 17. N52 is one of the strongest grades of neodymium magnet in common use, and spreading seventeen of them in a ring gives the holder its grip. Green Lion describes the result as a very strong magnetic hold that stays stable on bumpy roads. The Green Lion Snail Mount is MagSafe compatible, which means it is designed for iPhone 12 and later models with MagSafe, or any phone fitted with a MagSafe-compatible magnetic case. A phone with no magnets in its back or case will not stay on, so plan for a magnetic case or ring if your phone lacks MagSafe.
Twist-lock telescopic height
The name comes from the twist-lock telescopic design. Turn the collar to unlock, pull the rod up to the height you need, then twist to lock it in place. When you do not need the extra height, the rod slides back inside the body, which keeps the dashboard area clean instead of showing a long metal arm. Extra height is useful in cars with a low dashboard, where the phone otherwise sits below your line of sight, and in larger vehicles where a slightly higher position puts the map closer to the road view.
Dual-axis tilt and a 360° rotating base
Green Lion pairs a dual-axis joint at the head with a 360° rotating base. The head tilts so the screen faces the driver without glare, and the base turns fully so the phone can face the driver or the passenger. Because the hold is magnetic, switching from portrait for a call to landscape for a navigation app is simply a matter of rotating the phone on the magnets. With the Green Lion Snail Mount you can set a comfortable viewing angle once and leave it.
One-handed use while driving
Green Lion highlights one-handed operation: bring the phone near the head and the magnets pull it into place, then lift it off when you leave the car. There are no arms to open and no buttons to press, which keeps your eyes on the road for longer. Set up your route before you start driving, and follow UAE traffic rules on phone use; a mount helps with hands-free navigation and calls but is not a reason to handle the phone while moving.
How it attaches and what to check
Green Lion does not state on its product page how the base attaches to the car, nor the dimensions or weight of the holder. Check the attachment method in the box and choose a level, clean surface that does not block the airbags, the windscreen view or any dashboard displays. In the UAE summer a car interior gets very hot, so avoid placing the Green Lion Snail Mount where it sits in direct sun for hours if the phone stays on it; heat affects phone batteries more than the holder.
Who This Is Not For
The Green Lion Snail Mount is not for phones without MagSafe unless you add a MagSafe-compatible magnetic case or ring; Green Lion does not list one in the box. It is not suited to very thick or non-magnetic rugged cases, which weaken or block the magnetic hold. It has no wireless charging, so the phone will not charge while mounted. Green Lion also does not publish the attachment method, size or weight.
