The Green Lion Foldable Mini Washing Machine is a 9L portable washer that collapses when you are not using it. Green Lion lists a 60W rated power, three working modes of 4, 5 and 10 minutes, a built-in drain and a blue light bacteriostasis feature. Unfolded, it measures about 31 x 33 x 32 cm; folded, the height drops to about 17 cm, according to the dimensions on Green Lion’s page. It is rated for 110-240V at 50/60Hz, so it runs from a standard UAE wall socket, and it comes in blue.

Folds to about 17 cm
The main reason to choose the Green Lion Foldable Mini Washing Machine is storage. Green Lion lists the unfolded size as about 31 x 33 x 32 cm and the folded size as about 31 x 31 x 17 cm, so the height roughly halves when it collapses. That is the difference between a washer that fits on a wardrobe shelf or under a sink and one that stands in the bathroom corner all year. As with any folding body, do not fold it while there is water inside, and let it dry fully before storing it, so no moisture stays trapped in the folds.
9L capacity: what fits
Green Lion gives the capacity as 9L, in litres rather than kilograms of dry laundry, and it does not publish a load weight. The clothes need water around them to move and get clean, so think of a few small items per wash: socks, underwear, baby clothes, a T-shirt, a scarf or some cleaning cloths. The Green Lion Foldable Mini Washing Machine is smaller than full-size portable twin-tubs and is aimed at quick, small loads rather than a family wash.
Three timed modes: 4, 5 and 10 minutes
Green Lion lists three working modes timed at 4, 5 and 10 minutes. The short modes suit lightly worn clothes or a quick rinse, while the 10-minute mode suits items that need a longer wash. Choosing the shortest mode that does the job saves time and water. Use only a little detergent, since a 9L tub rinses less water through the clothes, and sort dark colours from light ones as you would in a full-size machine.
Built-in drain and blue light
After washing, a built-in drain in an easy-to-reach position lets you empty the tub without tipping the whole machine over the sink. Green Lion also lists blue light bacteriostasis. It does not publish test data for this feature, so treat it as an extra rather than a replacement for washing at proper temperatures with detergent. The rated power is 60W, and the Green Lion Foldable Mini Washing Machine runs from a 110-240V, 50/60Hz mains socket; Green Lion does not publish its weight.
Who it suits
The Green Lion Foldable Mini Washing Machine suits people in studios, shared rooms and staff accommodation where space is tight, students in dorms, and travellers on long stays who want to wash a few items between trips. It also suits parents who want to wash baby clothes apart from the main laundry, and anyone who wants a small washer that can be folded and put away when guests come.
Who This Is Not For
The Green Lion Foldable Mini Washing Machine is not for family laundry: 9L takes only a few small items, and it cannot handle jeans, towels in bulk or bedding. Green Lion does not list a spin-dry function, so clothes come out wet and need wringing and hanging. A folding body is less rigid than a one-piece tub, so it should not be overloaded. It needs a mains socket. Green Lion does not publish its weight, dry-load limit or test data for the blue light feature.
