The beyerdynamic MMX 150 Black is the black version of the MMX 150 Wireless, a closed-back, over-ear gaming headset from the German audio maker beyerdynamic. An all-black headset for a dark setup
Most gaming desks are built around black: black keyboard, black mouse, black monitor stand. Each cup holds a 40 mm dynamic driver that beyerdynamic describes as low-distortion and specially developed for gaming, with a frequency response of 20 to 20,000 Hz. The closed-back, circumaural design keeps game sound in and room noise out better than an open headset, which helps in a shared bedroom or a busy living room. The beyerdynamic app adds personal EQ settings and presets, adjustable sidetone, editable voice prompts and firmware updates. beyerdynamic does not list impedance or sensitivity for the MMX 150 Wireless, and there is no active noise cancellation.
META VOICE microphone
The boom microphone on the beyerdynamic MMX 150 Black is detachable and uses an electret condenser capsule. Who This Is Not For

Low-latency mode, mute and volume control need the USB dongle, not Bluetooth. At 336 g it is heavier than the lightest esports headsets, and beyerdynamic does not publish latency, impedance or battery test conditions.
