FAQ – Nex Playground

Do I have to pay a subscription to use Nex Playground?

No, and this one deserves a straight answer. Five full games ship on the device and stay yours permanently: Fruit Ninja, Starri, Whac-a-Mole, Go Keeper and Party Fowl. They do not expire and need no subscription.

The optional Play Pass unlocks the rest of the library and Nex prices it at roughly 49 US dollars for three months or 89 for a year. Plenty of families never buy it and stay on the five included titles. Get it if your children exhaust those and want new challenges.

Does it need controllers or anything worn on the body?

Neither. An ultra-wide camera reads natural body movement directly, so there is nothing to hold, strap on or charge, and nothing extra to buy when a fourth player joins. A small remote is included but it only navigates menus, it is not used to play.

What about the camera and privacy?

Motion processing happens on the device rather than in the cloud, and a physical privacy cover slides across the lens when the system is not in use. For a product aimed at children in a living room, a physical shutter matters more than any software setting.

How much room do I need?

Roughly 2 to 2.5 metres of clear floor between the players and the television, and more if four people are playing at once. A normal apartment living room handles it once the coffee table is pushed aside. In a very small or heavily furnished room it will work for one or two players rather than four, and that is worth knowing before you order.

What does it plug into?

Any TV with a spare HDMI port. The console connects over HDMI, draws power from the supplied adapter and joins your home Wi-Fi for updates and the game library. There is no console, PC or phone needed underneath it.

What warranty and delivery apply in the UAE?

Every unit carries a 1-year warranty from Totot covering manufacturing defects, alongside our 14-day return policy. We ship nationwide in up to 3 business days, free on orders from AED 300, with cash on delivery, Tabby and Tamara available at checkout.
