The soundcore AeroFit 2 AI Assistant is Anker’s open-ear earbud with a voice assistant built in, shown here in white. Like the standard AeroFit 2 it rests outside the ear canal on a flexible hook, so you keep hearing traffic, colleagues and announcements. What this edition adds is “Anka”: say “Hey Anka” and, after the beep, you can control the earbuds and ask for updates hands-free. Soundcore also lists two-way translation in 100 languages, 20 × 11.5 mm racetrack drivers with BassTurbo, LDAC, Bluetooth 5.4 and up to 8.5 hours per charge, or 35 hours in total with the case.

“Hey Anka”: the AI assistant
The feature that names the AeroFit 2 AI Assistant is its voice assistant. Soundcore’s instructions are simple: say “Hey Anka”, wait for the beep, then speak. Soundcore describes Anka as a hands-free personal assistant that is free to use, which you can use to control the earbuds and get updates without taking out your phone. That is useful mid-run, while cycling or when your hands are full. Soundcore does not spell out on the product page which AI model powers Anka or whether every request needs an internet connection through your phone, so treat it as a convenience for quick commands rather than a full replacement for your phone’s assistant.

Translation in 100 languages
The second headline feature is translation. Soundcore says the AeroFit 2 AI Assistant lets you instantly understand 100 languages with accurate two-way translation, and markets it as real-time. For travellers, and for anyone in the UAE who works with colleagues or customers from many countries, that can cover the gap in a short conversation. Soundcore does not list the 100 languages on the product page, so if you rely on a less common language, check the soundcore app for its current list before you buy. Soundcore does not state on the page whether translation runs through the phone app, so keep your phone with you when you plan to use it.

Open-ear fit with 4-level ear hooks
Nothing goes into your ear. Each earbud hangs on a soft hook with a double-curved surface, and the hook adjusts to four levels. Soundcore says this fits over 99% of ear shapes and sizes. The open design means no pressure in the ear canal and no blocked feeling after hours of wear, and you stay aware of what is around you, which is the reason runners and cyclists choose open-ear models. The trade-off is that outside noise is always part of what you hear.

Sound: 20 × 11.5 mm drivers, BassTurbo and LDAC
Open-ear earbuds struggle with bass because there is no seal. Soundcore’s answer in the AeroFit 2 AI Assistant is a large 20 × 11.5 mm racetrack driver paired with its BassTurbo acoustic structure. The earbuds connect over Bluetooth 5.4 and support LDAC, Sony’s high-resolution codec; LDAC is used by Android phones, while iPhones connect with Apple’s standard codecs. Soundcore does not publish microphone details or multipoint support on the AI Assistant page.

Battery and charging
Soundcore rates the AeroFit 2 AI Assistant at up to 8.5 hours of playback per charge and 35 hours in total with the charging case. A 10-minute charge gives about 3 hours of playtime, and the case is compatible with wireless charging, so it can recharge on a wireless pad instead of a cable. Those figures are lower than the standard AeroFit 2, which soundcore rates at about 10 hours and 42 hours; the assistant and translation features are what you get in exchange.

Why the white edition
The white AeroFit 2 AI Assistant has a clean, light look that suits office wear and pairs well with light-coloured gym kit. It shows makeup and sunscreen marks more readily than black, so wipe the hooks with a soft dry cloth after workouts. Soundcore also sells the AI Assistant in black.

Who This Is Not For
The AeroFit 2 AI Assistant is not for anyone who needs to block noise: there is no active noise cancelling, and the open design lets surrounding sound in on flights, the metro or in a loud office. Its battery is shorter than the standard AeroFit 2 (8.5 hours per charge versus about 10). LDAC works on Android, not iPhone. The earbuds are rated IP55 for sweat and splashes, but they are not made for swimming or for rinsing under a tap, and soundcore does not publish their weight or microphone count.
