The Green Lion Shadow Beats Earbuds are true wireless earbuds with a strong look: a round black charging case with two pointed ears and a teal-and-gold masked-hero face on the front. Green Lion includes a hanging chain to wear or clip the case, plus three custom faces to change its design. Inside are two black earbuds running Bluetooth 5.4 with a range of about 10m, 10mm speakers, up to 5 hours of playtime per charge, touch control and voice-assistant access, with a 200mAh case that charges over Type-C.

A black masked-hero case with a hanging chain
The design is what sets the Green Lion Shadow Beats Earbuds apart. The case is a matte black ball with two pointed ears and thin gold lines, and the front face shows a masked character in teal and gold. A small loop on top takes the hanging chain that Green Lion includes in the box, so the case can hang from a bag, a belt loop or a set of keys and become part of the outfit. The chain is for the case; it does not connect the two earbuds. Three custom faces let you swap the front design when you want a change.
Who the Shadow Beats suits
The dark, comic-style design suits teenagers, gamers and anyone who likes accessories with character but prefers black over bright colours. Black hides scuffs, bag dust and fingerprints far better than a white case, so it ages well in a school bag or a car. Because the case hangs from its chain, it is easy to find and harder to leave behind in a café or classroom. If you want something quiet and businesslike, a plain stem-style earbud will suit you better; the Green Lion Shadow Beats Earbuds are meant to be noticed.
Bluetooth 5.4, touch control and calls
Green Lion uses Bluetooth 5.4 with a transmission range of about 10m, comfortably enough for a phone in a pocket or across a room. Touch control on each earbud handles music and calls, and voice-assistant support brings up Siri or Google Assistant. Green Lion lists clear call quality as a feature but does not publish microphone details, and there is no active noise cancellation. The earbuds pair with any Bluetooth phone, tablet or laptop. Green Lion does not mention multipoint, an app or a low-latency game mode, so think of them as simple everyday earbuds.
10mm speakers and sound
Each earbud carries a 10mm speaker with a stated frequency response of 20Hz–20kHz, 32Ω impedance and 88dB sensitivity. That is a sensible driver size for this category and gives music and videos a fuller sound than the tiny drivers in very cheap earbuds. Without noise cancellation, the fit of the ear tips does the work of blocking outside sound, so make sure the earbuds sit snugly. For podcasts, YouTube, school lessons and casual music the Green Lion Shadow Beats Earbuds are a good fit; serious audio listeners will want a model with an app and EQ.
Battery and charging
Green Lion lists a 30mAh battery in each earbud with up to 5 hours of playtime, and a 200mAh battery in the case. The case charges through Type-C in about 1.5 hours, and the stated standby time is up to 150 hours, so the earbuds hold charge when left unused for several days. Green Lion does not publish how many full recharges the case provides. In practice the pair suits a school day, a commute or a gym-free afternoon; for long flights you will need to put them back in the case to top up.
Who This Is Not For
The Green Lion Shadow Beats Earbuds are not for sport in heat or rain: Green Lion publishes no water or sweat resistance rating, even though one product photo shows a runner. There is no active noise cancellation, no published multipoint pairing and no app. Playtime is up to 5 hours per charge, and the bold masked-hero case will not suit a formal office look. Green Lion does not publish weight or the number of recharges the case gives.
