The Xiaomi TV A 43 FHD is the 43-inch model of Xiaomi’s 2025 TV A range, and the letters FHD matter: it has a Full HD 1920 x 1080 panel, not a 4K one. At 43 inches, viewed from a sofa or across a bedroom, 1080p looks sharp and keeps the price low, but 4K streams are shown downscaled. Xiaomi pairs the panel with a metal-finish unibody frame, two 8W speakers with Dolby Audio, DTS:X and DTS Virtual:X, Google TV with Chromecast built-in and a 360° Bluetooth remote.

Xiaomi TV A 43 FHD: a Full HD panel, not 4K
Xiaomi sells two 43-inch sets in the 2025 A range, so check the name before you compare prices. The Xiaomi TV A 43 FHD is the Full HD one, with a resolution of 1920 x 1080 at 60Hz. Xiaomi rates the panel at 1.07 billion colours, which its support page describes as 8-bit plus FRC, with 178° viewing angles in both directions.
Xiaomi’s own screen FAQ for the Xiaomi TV A 43 FHD 2025 adds the numbers the spec page leaves out: a direct-LED backlight with global dimming, a 3000:1 contrast ratio, 73% (minimum) to 75% (typical) of DCI-P3, 9.5 ms grey-to-grey response and 170 to 200 nits of brightness. It has no ambient light sensor. Xiaomi does not list HDR10 or HLG for this model, so treat it as an SDR television.
Those figures describe a set built for everyday viewing in a room you can darken a little: the news, football, cartoons and streaming series. At 170 to 200 nits it will not punch through direct afternoon sun on a west-facing window.
Google TV, casting and the 360° remote
The Xiaomi TV A 43 FHD runs Google TV, which gathers films and series from your streaming apps into one home screen, with search across more than 10,000 apps and separate profiles for each person in the house. Chromecast is built in, so you can send YouTube or a streaming app from an Android phone or an iPhone to the screen, and Xiaomi also lists Miracast screen mirroring.
The 360° Bluetooth remote does not need to point at the TV, and it has a Google Assistant button for voice search. Xiaomi notes that Google Assistant is not available in every language or country, and that apps and content vary by region, so the exact line-up you see depends on your Google account region.
Inside is a quad-core Arm A55 processor with a Mali-G31 MP2 GPU, 1.5 GB of RAM and 8 GB of storage. Xiaomi warns that usable storage is lower because of the system and preinstalled software, so keep the app list to what you actually watch.
Sound: two 8W speakers with Dolby Audio and DTS:X
Xiaomi fits two 8W stereo speakers, 16W in total, and supports Dolby Audio, DTS:X and DTS Virtual:X. DTS Virtual:X is processing that simulates height and surround from two speakers; it is not a separate speaker array. For a bedroom or a small majlis the built-in sound is enough for talk shows and series.
If you want a soundbar, plan the connection first. Xiaomi’s spec sheet for the Xiaomi TV A 43 FHD lists no optical output, no 3.5 mm headphone jack and does not mention ARC or eARC on its HDMI ports. Bluetooth 5.0 is available for wireless speakers or headphones.
Ports, tuner and network
On the back you get two HDMI inputs, two USB 2.0 ports, an Ethernet port, a composite AV input and dual-band Wi-Fi on 2.4 GHz and 5 GHz. Two HDMI ports cover a receiver and a games console; a third device needs a switch.
Xiaomi lists the broadcast tuner as DVB-T2/C and DVB-S2, with a footnote that tuner support varies by market. Do not buy the Xiaomi TV A 43 FHD expecting a built-in satellite tuner until you have confirmed it on your unit; most viewers in the UAE watch through a receiver or streaming apps anyway.
Size, wall mounting and power in a UAE home
Without the stand the Xiaomi TV A 43 FHD measures 954.7 x 81.2 x 551.3 mm and weighs about 5.3 kg; with the stand it is 596.5 mm tall and 209.6 mm deep. The stand is in the box, and the back takes a standard 200 x 200 mm VESA wall mount, which is sold separately.
It runs on 200–240V at 50/60 Hz, which matches UAE mains directly, and Xiaomi rates power consumption at 75W. No voltage converter is needed.
Choosing between the 43-inch FHD and the bigger 2025 sets
The larger 2025 sets in the same range, such as the Xiaomi TV A 50 2025 and the Xiaomi TV A 55 2025, have 4K panels. They are different products, not bigger versions of this screen, and they suit living rooms where you sit close to a big picture.
The Xiaomi TV A 43 FHD is the better fit for a bedroom, a kitchen wall, a children’s room or a staff room, where a 43-inch screen is viewed from two metres or more and 1080p is all the detail the eye can pick up.
Who This Is Not For
Skip this TV if you want 4K or HDR; it has neither. Gamers looking for 120Hz, VRR or ALLM will not find them on Xiaomi’s spec sheet. With 1.5 GB of RAM, heavy app switching is slower than on pricier sets, and there is no optical output or headphone jack for older sound systems. The 170 to 200 nit panel is also a poor match for a very bright room.
