Xiaomi rates the battery at 190mAh and quotes up to 16 days of typical use. That figure comes from a lab test with factory settings, heart rate measured every 30 minutes, high-precision sleep, breathing quality and all-day stress monitoring off, 100 messages and 10 calls a day, and 60 minutes of workouts a week. With the always-on display enabled under the same conditions, the figure falls to up to 6 days. On the Xiaomi Smart Band 8 Black, turn on all the continuous health features and expect less. A full charge on the magnetic charger takes about one hour.
Screen, water and phone features
The AMOLED panel runs at 60Hz with 326 ppi and up to 600 nits, with automatic brightness from the ambient light sensor, so the Xiaomi Smart Band 8 Black stays readable outdoors in the UAE sun. More than 200 watch faces are available in Mi Fitness, including always-on styles.
