The Xiaomi Pad 8 Keyboard Bundle puts the Xiaomi Pad 8 (8GB RAM, 256GB storage, Wi-Fi, Gray) together with the official Xiaomi Pad 8 / 8 Pro Keyboard, the standard snap-on keyboard case that Xiaomi makes for this tablet. The tablet brings a Snapdragon 8s Gen 4 processor, an 11.2-inch 3.2K screen at up to 144Hz and a 9200mAh (typical) battery in a 5.75mm metal body, and the keyboard adds a PC-style layout that connects through magnetic pogo pins. Totot has the bundle in stock in the UAE for anyone who wants a laptop-like setup that weighs far less than a laptop.

What comes in the Xiaomi Pad 8 Keyboard Bundle
With the Xiaomi Pad 8 Keyboard Bundle you receive two official Xiaomi items. The tablet is the Xiaomi Pad 8 8GB+256GB Wi-Fi in Gray, the darkest of its three colours (Gray, Blue and Pine Green). The keyboard is the Xiaomi Pad 8 / 8 Pro Keyboard; Xiaomi lists its package as the keyboard, a quick start guide and a warranty card.
Xiaomi also makes a more expensive Xiaomi Pad 8 / 8 Pro Focus Keyboard, which is heavier at 590g and tilts from 0 to 124 degrees. This bundle uses the basic Keyboard, the lighter 320g model with a single 120-degree position, which is the version our supplier lists with the tablet.
On the charger: Xiaomi’s UAE specification page lists an adapter in the tablet’s package, but a footnote on its UAE overview page says no power adapter is included and that the 45W adapter is sold separately. Box contents can vary by region, so plan for a USB-C charger if you do not already own one.
How the Xiaomi Pad 8 / 8 Pro Keyboard works
In the Xiaomi Pad 8 Keyboard Bundle, the tablet snaps onto a backplate and the keyboard folds over the screen when closed, so it doubles as a case. There is nothing to pair: the keyboard connects through magnetic pogo pins, which Xiaomi says gives a stable, low-latency link. Opening the cover wakes the tablet, closing it puts the screen to sleep, and pressing any key also wakes the display.
Typing on the Xiaomi Pad 8 Keyboard Bundle feels close to a notebook. Keycaps are 15mm wide with 18mm spacing and 1.3mm of travel, and they are slightly concave by 0.15mm to guide the fingertips. The US version has 64 keys and the UK version 65, and Xiaomi lists the language as US English. Unfolded, the keyboard measures 253.41 x 363.5 x 5.4mm and weighs 320g, plus or minus 5g.
Who gets the most from the Xiaomi Pad 8 Keyboard Bundle
University students writing reports, sales staff answering emails between meetings and parents who share one device for school and streaming will all use the keyboard daily. HyperOS 3 adds Workstation Mode with a bigger Dock, a 1:9 quick-switch split screen and a vertical split screen, and Xiaomi is rolling out a PC-level browser with more than 40 keyboard shortcuts and WPS Office PC by OTA in certain regions, which make the keyboard far more useful.
Beyond the Xiaomi Pad 8 Keyboard Bundle itself, Xiaomi Interconnectivity lets the Pad 8 serve as a wireless extended display for a MacBook and swap files with Apple devices, once both sides are set up.
The Xiaomi Pad 8 tablet
The 4nm Snapdragon 8s Gen 4 uses one Cortex-X4 core at 3.2GHz, three A720 at 3.0GHz, two A720 at 2.8GHz and two A720 at 2.0GHz with Adreno 825 graphics. Against the Xiaomi Pad 7, Xiaomi reports 32% higher CPU performance (Geekbench 6 multi-core), 67% higher GPU performance (1440P Aztec Ruins Vulkan) and a 36% higher AnTuTu V11 score in its own tests. Memory is 8GB LPDDR5X and storage is 256GB UFS 4.1.
The 11.2-inch 3:2 screen has 3200 x 2136 resolution at 345 ppi, adaptive refresh up to 144Hz, 800 nits peak brightness (Xiaomi does not publish a typical figure), 12-bit colour, HDR10 and Dolby Vision. The Xiaomi Pad 8 Keyboard Bundle battery side is strong too: 9200mAh typical (9000mAh rated), 17.78 hours of continuous video streaming and 13.25 hours of continuous online meetings in Xiaomi’s lab, and 45W turbo charging. Quad speakers support Dolby Atmos, the rear camera is 13MP with 4K at 30fps, and the front camera is 8MP.
Who This Is Not For
The Xiaomi Pad 8 Keyboard Bundle has no trackpad on the keyboard, so pointing is still done on the touchscreen; buyers who want a trackpad and backlight-style extras should look at the separate Focus Keyboard. The keyboard offers a single 120-degree viewing angle, which may not suit very tall or very short desks. Xiaomi lists a US English layout, so do not expect Arabic letters printed on the keys, although you can still type Arabic through the on-screen language settings. The tablet is Wi-Fi only, unlocks by AI face unlock rather than a fingerprint sensor, and has no pen in the box (the Xiaomi Focus Pen Pro is sold separately). Gamers who want the fastest chip should consider the Xiaomi Pad 8 Pro with Snapdragon 8 Elite.
