The Razer Basilisk V3 Pro Phantom White is the translucent white edition of Razer’s Basilisk V3 Pro 35K, a right-handed wireless gaming mouse with a thumb rest. It pairs the Focus Pro 35K Optical Sensor Gen-2 with Razer’s HyperScroll Tilt Wheel, 13 customisable controls and Chroma RGB lighting that shows through the see-through shell. It connects over HyperSpeed Wireless or Bluetooth and charges on compatible Qi wireless chargers.

The Phantom White look
Razer sells the Basilisk V3 Pro 35K in Black, White, Phantom Green and Phantom White. The Phantom editions use a translucent shell, and in the Razer Basilisk V3 Pro Phantom White you can see the internal structure through a frosted, clear-white body, with the RGB lighting diffusing through it rather than sitting in thin strips.
Razer lists up to 13 individually programmable lighting zones with 16.8 million colours, and notes that the zone count varies by colour, so the Phantom edition’s lighting may not match the solid-colour versions exactly. The effects sync with Razer Chroma, which Razer says is integrated with over 300 games.
Focus Pro 35K Optical Sensor Gen-2
The sensor in the Razer Basilisk V3 Pro Phantom White is Razer’s Focus Pro 35K Optical Sensor Gen-2, rated up to 35,000 DPI, 750 IPS and 70 G acceleration with 99.8% resolution accuracy. DPI adjusts in 1 DPI steps. Razer adds Smart Tracking with low, medium and high modes, Motion Sync, and an asymmetric cut-off with up to 26 levels, which let you tune how the mouse behaves when you lift and reposition it.
In practice few players use anything near 35,000 DPI; the value of this sensor is in accurate tracking at normal settings and in the lift-off controls for low-sensitivity players.
HyperScroll Tilt Wheel and 13 controls
The HyperScroll Tilt Wheel is the signature part of the Razer Basilisk V3 Pro Phantom White. It tilts left and right for four-way input and has three modes: tactile scrolling with notches, free-spin for long documents and web pages, and Smart-Reel, which switches between the two automatically depending on how fast you scroll.
Razer counts 13 customisable controls on the Razer Basilisk V3 Pro Phantom White, including the wheel tilts, and the main clicks use Razer Optical Mouse Switches Gen-3 rated for 90 million clicks. Listings that describe this mouse as having 11 buttons refer to an older count; Razer’s current page lists 13 customisable controls.
Wireless, battery and charging
The Razer Basilisk V3 Pro Phantom White connects with Razer HyperSpeed Wireless through its USB dongle, which stores in a compartment under a puck cover, or over Bluetooth. Razer rates the battery at up to 140 hours on HyperSpeed Wireless and up to 210 hours on Bluetooth.
For 8,000 Hz HyperPolling, Razer requires either the Razer Mouse Dock Pro or the HyperPolling Wireless Dongle, both sold separately. The Razer Basilisk V3 Pro Phantom White also supports Qi wireless charging on the Razer Mouse Dock Pro, the HyperFlux V2 wireless charging system, the Razer Wireless Charging Puck and select third-party inductive chargers.
Who this is not for
Left-handed players should look elsewhere: the Razer Basilisk V3 Pro Phantom White is a right-handed ergonomic shape with a thumb rest on the left side.
If you want the full 8,000 Hz polling rate, budget for the Mouse Dock Pro or the HyperPolling dongle, because they are sold separately. The same goes for wireless charging: you need a compatible Qi charger or Razer dock to use it.
And the translucent shell is honest about dust. Fine particles and fingerprints show more on a clear-white body than on the solid black version, so this edition suits someone happy to wipe it down now and then. Razer’s product page does not list the weight, so if you need a very light mouse, compare against the models that publish it.
