The MOVA V50 Ultra Complete is a robot vacuum and mop for homes with pets, carpets and door thresholds. MOVA lists 24,000Pa suction, mopping with 50°C water, a DuoSolution system with a general cleaner and a pet odour eliminator, crossing of two-layer thresholds up to 6cm, and a base station that washes, dries and sterilises the mops. This unit is the EU version.
Table of Contents
Suction and anti-tangle
MOVA rates the V50 Ultra Complete at 24,000Pa maximum suction from its TurboForce7 motor. The HEPA filter is cleaned by air from the base station fan during auto-empty, which MOVA says keeps suction from dropping as the filter fills.
For hair and fur, MOVA lists three anti-tangle designs: the TroboWave DuoBrush main brush, an eccentric-circle side brush and an anti-tangle omni-wheel.
Thermo mopping with DuoSolution
The mop pads rotate at 260rpm and are wetted with 50°C water, which helps dissolve stubborn stains. The DuoSolution system has two containers: one for a general cleaning solution and one for a pet odour eliminator, and you choose which to use in the app.
An RGB camera with dirt detection tells solid, liquid and mixed stains apart. The FlexMop RoboSwing extends the mop up to 4cm towards edges, and the side brush extends into corners.
Threshold crossing with StepMaster
StepMaster uses retractable legs to lift the chassis. MOVA lists 6cm for a two-layer threshold and 4.2cm for a single vertical step, so the 6cm figure only applies when the threshold has two levels. The spec table lists 60mm obstacle crossing height.
The DToF sensor retracts, bringing the robot height down to 89.5mm (110.5mm with the sensor raised), so the MOVA V50 Ultra Complete can clean under low sofas and beds. Obstacle avoidance uses AI SmartSight with a structured-light 3D scanner and an LED fill light.
The self-care base station
The base station washes the mops on a JetSpray Dryboard with 20 spray nozzles, dries them with 60°C hot air in about 1 hour, and applies UV sterilisation. It empties the robot into a 3.2L dust bag, which MOVA rates for up to 100 days hands-free, and it dries the dust box and bag.
The clean water tank holds 4L and the used water tank 3.5L. The base station measures 458 × 420 × 470mm, and the robot measures 350 × 350mm.
Carpets, pets and battery
The mops lift 10.5mm on carpet, and an ultrasonic sensor recognises carpet so the MOVA V50 Ultra Complete can avoid it, boost suction on it or clean it with the mops removed. Pet features include pet zone cleaning, pet waste recognition and remote pet monitoring through the camera.
The battery is 6,400mAh. The robot returns to the base to recharge and then resumes cleaning. MOVA lists a built-in voice assistant (“Hey, MOVA”), Apple Watch control and third-party voice assistant support.
Who the MOVA V50 Ultra Complete is not for
It is not for homes with single steps higher than 4.2cm between rooms, because the 6cm figure only applies to two-layer thresholds. It is not for small spaces with no room for a 458 × 420 × 470mm base station. The dust bags and cleaning solutions are consumables that need replacing over time.
For higher crossing and a roller mop, see the MOVA Z70 Ultra Roller Complete or the MOVA Mobius 60.
