The Kooduu Lite-up PLAY Mini Sand is the warm beige member of Kooduu’s Lite-up PLAY Mini family, a 29 cm carry lamp with an 8 W SOUND BY JBL speaker, a 2700 K dimmable LED and a handcrafted FSC-certified wooden handle. Sand is the most neutral of the four colours Kooduu offers (Earth, Petroleum, Sand and Ocean Blue), so it blends with the beige, stone and wood tones found in many UAE homes. It is the Mini, not the 40 cm Lite-up PLAY, and Totot ships it from local stock.

Why Sand, and who it suits
Sand is a soft, light neutral. Next to cream sofas, limestone floors, rattan and pale oak, the Kooduu Lite-up PLAY Mini Sand looks like it was chosen with the room rather than added to it, and the wooden handle and brass accents that Kooduu describes sit naturally on the lighter tone.
It suits people who want a lamp that works in any room they carry it into, buyers furnishing a rental who do not want to commit to a strong colour, and anyone choosing a gift without knowing the recipient’s décor. If you want contrast instead, Petroleum and Ocean Blue are the bolder options in the same range.
Carrying the Kooduu Lite-up PLAY Mini Sand from room to room
The handle is the reason to choose a Lite-up PLAY Mini over a table-bound lamp. A typical evening with the Kooduu Lite-up PLAY Mini Sand might start in the kitchen while you cook, move to the dining table, then end on a covered balcony or the bedside table, all without a cable.
At 0.93 kg the Kooduu Lite-up PLAY Mini Sand is light enough to carry with one hand. Wooden feet with rubber pads keep it steady on glass or wood, and a slide control switches the light on and off. Music and light come from the same object, so there is one thing to move, not two.
Battery life: the honest numbers
Kooduu’s spec list for the Kooduu Lite-up PLAY Mini Sand says up to 11 hours, but the product description breaks this down further: up to 9 hours at low volume, about 7 hours at moderate volume, about 4 hours at maximum volume, and up to 10 hours with the light alone. Plan on the moderate figure for a normal evening with music and light together.
The 2200 mAh battery recharges over USB-C in 4.0 hours according to the spec list (the description says 3.5 to 4 hours), and a charging cable is included.
The rest, in brief
8 W full-range SOUND BY JBL speaker, Bluetooth 5.3, TWS stereo with one other Lite-up PLAY or Lite-up PLAY Mini. 1.5 W LED at 2700 K, dimmable. 29 cm high, 21 cm wide, white PE body with soft-touch rubber.
Who this is not for
The Kooduu Lite-up PLAY Mini Sand is not weatherproof: Kooduu publishes no IP rating, so use it under cover and bring it in. Kooduu also publishes no lumen figure and the LED is rated at 1.5 W, so treat it as mood light, not reading light. 8 W suits a room or a table, not a large outdoor gathering.
The Kooduu Lite-up PLAY Mini Sand will not pair in stereo with Sensa PLAY, Sensa PLAY Mini, Serena PLAY or Synergy, only with Lite-up PLAY and Lite-up PLAY Mini. And if you want the larger 40 cm, 10 W model, that is the Lite-up PLAY, a different product.

FAQ
What colour exactly is Sand?
Kooduu does not publish an exact colour code; it is a light, warm beige. Kooduu lists the range materials as a white PE body with soft-touch rubber, a wooden handle and wooden feet, and the Sand version pairs that wood with the palest of the four colourways.
Is Sand a good choice for a beige or wooden interior?
Yes. It is the most neutral of Earth, Petroleum, Sand and Ocean Blue, so it blends with cream, stone, rattan and light wood instead of contrasting with them.
Is Sand a safe gift colour?
Yes. When you do not know the recipient’s décor, a neutral beige with natural wood is the least risky of the four colours.
Is the Kooduu Lite-up PLAY Mini Sand the same as the Lite-up PLAY Sand?
No. The Mini is 29 cm high, 0.93 kg and 8 W with a 2200 mAh battery. The Lite-up PLAY is 40 cm high, 2.00 kg and 10 W with a 2600 mAh battery.
How long does it play at moderate volume?
7 hours, per Kooduu’s description. The spec list gives up to 11 hours; the description adds 9 hours at low volume, 4 hours at maximum and 10 hours light-only.
Can I pair it with my Lite-up PLAY Mini in another colour?
Yes. TWS stereo works with one other Lite-up PLAY or Lite-up PLAY Mini of any colour.
