IP54 Buds, IPX2 Case: What It Means Day to Day
The earbuds of the JBL Wave Flex are IP54 rated: protected against dust and against splashing water from any direction. That covers sweat at the gym, a walk in humidity and light rain. It is not a swimming rating, so keep them out of the pool.

JBL does not publish codec support beyond the standard Bluetooth profiles, so there is no LDAC or aptX for high-resolution streaming, and multipoint is not listed.
