Soft cushions, an adjustable headband and a folding design carry over, and the headphones weigh about 264 g.
Who This Is Not For
The Bose QC Ultra 2nd Gen Midnight Violet is not for anyone who needs water resistance: there is no IP rating and Bose advises keeping it away from wet conditions. At about 264 g it is not the lightest option. Limited-edition stock can be harder to replace later. Wired lossless audio tops out at 16-bit and 48 kHz, iPhones do not get aptX Adaptive, and no power adapter is in the box.
