The Apple AirTag 2nd Gen 4-Pack gives you four of Apple’s second-generation AirTags: one for your keys, one for your bag, one for your luggage and one to spare. Apple says the new AirTag has a speaker that is 50% louder and up to 1.5 times the Precision Finding range of the first generation, while keeping the same size, the Find My network and the replaceable coin-cell battery. You need an iPhone or iPad on iOS or iPadOS 26 or later to use them.

What Is New in the Apple AirTag 2nd Gen 4-Pack
Apple lists two headline changes over the original AirTag. First, the speaker is 50% louder, and Apple says you can now hear an AirTag from up to twice as far away when you play a sound from the Find My app. Second, a second-generation Ultra Wideband chip gives up to 1.5x greater Precision Finding range.
The conditions matter for the Apple AirTag 2nd Gen 4-Pack. Apple states that expanded Precision Finding works when AirTag (2nd generation) is paired with iPhone Air or iPhone 15 or later, excluding iPhone 16e and iPhone 17e, and that availability varies by region. Precision Finding on Apple Watch needs an Apple Watch Series 9 or later, or Ultra 2 or later, on watchOS 26.2.1. With older iPhones the Apple AirTag 2nd Gen 4-Pack still works through Find My, just without the extended range.
How Find My Locates Your Items
Each tracker in the Apple AirTag 2nd Gen 4-Pack sends out a secure Bluetooth signal that nearby devices in the Find My network can detect. Apple says that network is made up of more than a billion iPhone, iPad and Mac devices. Those devices report the AirTag’s location to iCloud anonymously and encrypted, and you see it on a map in Find My. Apple states that only you can see where your AirTag is, and that location history is never stored on the AirTag itself.
If something is lost, put the AirTag into Lost Mode. You get a notification when the network detects it, and anyone who finds it can tap it with an NFC-capable smartphone to see your contact details.
Four Trackers, Shared with Family
The Apple AirTag 2nd Gen 4-Pack makes most sense for a household. Apple lets you share an AirTag with up to five people, so items everyone uses, such as the car keys, a bicycle or a shared suitcase, can be tracked by family members too. Put one in each travel bag before a trip through Dubai International and you can check your luggage from the Find My app on arrival.
Setting up the Apple AirTag 2nd Gen 4-Pack takes one tap per tracker: bring each AirTag near your iPhone or iPad, name it, and attach it to the item. Notifications can also appear on an Apple Watch.
Battery, Water Resistance and Build
Every AirTag in the Apple AirTag 2nd Gen 4-Pack runs on a standard CR2032 coin cell that comes installed. Apple says it lasts more than a year in everyday use of sound and Precision Finding, and your iPhone alerts you when it is time to replace it. Each AirTag is rated IP67 under IEC 60529, meaning a maximum depth of 1 metre for up to 30 minutes, measures 31.9 mm across and 8.0 mm thick, and weighs 11.8 g. Apple rates it for use from -20 °C to 60 °C, and the enclosure uses 85% recycled plastic.
Built to Discourage Unwanted Tracking
Like every AirTag, the Apple AirTag 2nd Gen 4-Pack is designed to alert people to trackers they do not own. If someone else’s AirTag is travelling with you, your iPhone notices and sends an alert, and if it is still not found after a while, the AirTag plays a sound. These alerts only trigger when an AirTag is separated from its owner, so travelling with family who carry their own AirTags does not set them off.
Who This Is Not For
The Apple AirTag 2nd Gen 4-Pack needs an Apple Account and an iPhone on iOS 26 or later, or an iPad on iPadOS 26 or later, to set up and track; it is not an Android tracker. AirTag has no keyring hole, so you need a key ring, loop or holder, sold separately. The expanded Precision Finding range needs iPhone Air or iPhone 15 or later (not 16e or 17e). Units bought from us are not engraved; Apple’s free personalisation is only available when buying directly from Apple.
