Xiaomi 18 Pro Max 12GB/512GB White (China Version) – Snapdragon 8 Elite Extreme Gen 6, 2.9-Inch Rear Display, 8500mAh, 100W, Dual 200MP Leica

The Xiaomi 18 Pro Max 12GB 512GB White is the balanced 12 GB + 512 GB version of Xiaomi’s largest new phone, finished in white glass fibre. It belongs to the China release of 23 September 2026 and pairs two 200 MP Leica cameras with a 6.9-inch privacy-mode AMOLED, a small 2.9-inch screen on the back, the 2 nm Snapdragon 8 Elite Extreme Gen 6 and an 8500 mAh battery.

12 GB + 512 GB: the balanced middle

This configuration doubles the storage of the base model while keeping 12 GB of LPDDR5X memory, and Xiaomi prices it at CNY 7,999 in China. It is the sensible pick for people who shoot plenty of 4K video, keep offline maps, podcasts and music on the phone, or install several large games, but who do not need the extra memory of the 16 GB versions. For most buyers the Xiaomi 18 Pro Max 12GB 512GB White is the point where storage stops being something to manage, without paying for capacity they will never fill.

A 6.9-inch screen with a privacy mode

The main display is a 6.9-inch AMOLED at 2624 x 1208 that adapts from 1 to 120 Hz and samples touch at up to 300 Hz. Its hardware privacy mode darkens the picture for people beside you while you still see it clearly, which is handy on the metro. Xiaomi quotes up to 4000 nits multi-scene peak brightness in its lab tests, and the Xiaomi 18 Pro Max 12GB 512GB White dims down to 1 nit at night.

Living with the white finish

White also uses the glass-fibre back, so the weight stays at 235 g and the thickness at 8.39 mm. It is the brightest colour in the range and makes the dark camera island and the rear screen stand out. On the Xiaomi 18 Pro Max 12GB 512GB White, dust and pocket marks show on the frame sooner than on black, so keeping the included case on is a good habit.

China version, in short

The Xiaomi 18 Pro Max 12GB 512GB White is the model Xiaomi sells in mainland China, running the China edition of Xiaomi HyperOS 4. Xiaomi has not published a global version yet and its China spec sheet does not list Google services, so message us first if Google apps matter to you. Xiaomi lists the main UAE 4G and 5G bands, including LTE 1, 3, 7, 20 and 28 and 5G n78, two Nano-SIM slots and no eSIM.

Who This Is Not For

White shows marks on the frame sooner than black, and 6.9 inches is a lot for small hands. If you keep many heavy apps open at once or edit long videos, the 16 GB versions hold more in memory. This is the China version: Xiaomi lists no eSIM, its China spec sheet does not list Google services, and it has no local Xiaomi UAE agent warranty.
