The MOVA S70 Roller is a robot vacuum and mop that uses a roller instead of spinning pads. Its HydroForce system feeds clean water to the roller as it turns, so it mops with fresh water rather than spreading dirty water. MOVA lists 28,000Pa suction and a body only 90mm tall. This unit is Black, EU version.
Table of Contents
HydroForce roller mopping
MOVA says the roller mops with running water and presses down with 4700Pa, measured in MOVA’s lab. The base washes the roller with water up to 80°C, with room temperature, 45°C and 60°C options, and dries it with 70°C hot air.
On carpet, the MOVA S70 Roller lifts the mop by 12mm and the side brush by 10mm.
Suction and navigation
MOVA lists 28,000Pa maximum suction, based on its in-house lab tests. Navigation uses MOVA’s CovertSense system with a hidden DToF laser for long-range object recognition, so there is no raised laser tower on top.
MOVA’s page does not state the maximum threshold height it can cross, so message us if you have high door sills.
Slim 90mm body
The robot measures 350 × 350 × 90mm. At 90mm tall, the MOVA S70 Roller can reach under many sofas and beds where taller robots stop. Measure the gap under your furniture to check.
Base station
The base empties the robot into a 3.2L dust bag, which MOVA says lasts up to 100 days in its lab tests. It holds 5L of clean water and 4.5L of dirty water. MOVA says the tank capacity lets it clean up to 1200 m² in one go, based on its lab tests. The base measures 340 × 255 × 503mm.
Battery and app
The battery is 5200mAh. The app shows a live 2.5D map of your home, and it has a dark mode. MOVA cites TUV SUD certification for a 99.99% figure on its page.
What is in the box
MOVA lists the robot, the base station, a ramp extension plate, the roller mop, main brush, side brush, dust box and filter, washboard, dust bag and scale inhibitor (pre-installed), and a user manual. This is the EU version; message us and we will check the plug in the warehouse.
Who the MOVA S70 Roller is not for
It is not for homes with high thresholds between rooms, because MOVA does not publish a climbing height for this model. It is not for homes that are mostly thick carpet, since the mop lifts only 12mm. It is not for anyone who wants the strongest suction in the MOVA range.
For stronger suction and a higher threshold climb, see the MOVA Z70 Ultra Roller Complete, for rotating mops see the MOVA P70 Pro Ultra, or browse all vacuums and cleaning.

Specifications on this page come from MOVA’s official S70 Roller product page. MOVA says figures such as 28,000Pa, 4700Pa, 100 days and 1200 m² are based on its in-house lab tests and may vary in real homes, so we keep those conditions with the numbers.
