reMarkable Paper Pro Bundle – 11.8-inch Canvas Color E Ink Paper Tablet, Marker Plus with Eraser, Black Leather Book Folio, 64GB

The reMarkable Paper Pro Bundle is the reMarkable Paper Pro colour paper tablet with two accessories: the Marker Plus, which adds an eraser on the end, and the black leather Book Folio cover. reMarkable lists an 11.8-inch Canvas Color display at 2160 × 1620 (229 ppi), an adjustable reading light, 12 ms writing latency, 64GB of storage and up to two weeks of battery.

The display

The 11.8-inch Canvas Color display runs at 2160 × 1620 (229 ppi) under a textured glass cover lens that gives a paper-like feel, according to reMarkable. It shows colour, has an adjustable reading light for dim rooms and is designed to stay readable in sunlight.

Writing and storage

reMarkable measures writing latency at 12 milliseconds. Storage is 64GB, which reMarkable compares to 810 notebooks. The Marker Plus in this bundle adds an eraser on its end, so you flip it to erase like a pencil.

Battery and connections

The 5,030mAh battery lasts up to two weeks, based on 2 hours of writing a day for 5 days a week, and reMarkable notes that using the reading light at maximum brightness shortens it. Charging from 0 to 90% takes 90 minutes. There is a USB-C port and Wi-Fi on 2.4 GHz and 5 GHz.

Size and the Book Folio

The reMarkable Paper Pro Bundle tablet measures 274.1 × 196.6 × 5.1 mm and weighs 525 g, according to reMarkable. The black leather Book Folio in this bundle covers it like a book.

Connect subscription

reMarkable offers an optional Connect subscription with handwriting search, unlimited cloud storage and integrations. reMarkable lists a 50-day free trial for new subscribers. The tablet works for writing and reading without it.

Who the reMarkable Paper Pro Bundle is not for

It is not for anyone who wants apps, video or a colourful LCD-style screen: it is an E Ink paper tablet built for reading, writing and sketching. It is also not for anyone who wants a small device, since the screen is 11.8 inches.
