The JONR T5 Lite is the entry point to JONR’s robot vacuums with a maintenance dock. The robot vacuums and mops in one pass, then returns to a station that washes its two rotating mop pads with clean water from a 4-litre tank, collects the dirty water in a second 4-litre tank and air-dries the pads. Navigation is by LDS laser with 200 m² of map memory, and the pads lift automatically on carpet. This is a different, simpler machine from the JONR T5 Pro Gen 2: no dust bag, no hot water and no hot air. Everything below comes from JONR’s own T5 Lite product page, with the wording JONR uses.

What the JONR T5 Lite is, and what its dock does
The JONR T5 Lite is a round LDS-turret robot, 325 x 325mm and 100mm tall, paired with a base station measuring 345 x 435 x 545mm. JONR names the station a Mop-Wash Air-Dry Dock, and that name is a precise description of what it does: it washes the mop pads and it air-dries them. It does not empty the robot’s dust box into a bag, it does not heat the wash water, it does not blow hot air, and it does not refill a tank on the robot. If you want any of those, the T5 Pro Gen 2 or X1 Max in our range have them.
What the dock does have is capacity. Two 4-litre tanks sit side by side: one for clean water that feeds the pad wash, one for the dirty water that comes off the pads. That is enough for several mopping runs of an apartment before either tank needs attention, and because the pads are washed with fresh water rather than what the robot just picked up, the pads do not develop the sour smell of a mop left wet.
Suction: the two figures JONR publishes
JONR’s feature list for the JONR T5 Lite states 8,000Pa of suction. The product summary on the same JONR page says up to 4,000Pa. Both are JONR’s own words for this exact model, and JONR does not explain the difference, so we show both rather than pick one. Neither figure is tied to a named mode. What the page does tie to a mode is noise: 60dB or lower in quiet mode.
JONR describes four cleaning modes but does not name them on the product page. The robot climbs thresholds up to 2cm, which covers a typical door strip or rug edge, and a HEPA filter sits in the dust box. JONR does not publish the dust box volume.
Dual rotating mops and automatic mop lift
The JONR T5 Lite mops with two rotating pads rather than a flat cloth dragged behind the robot, and rotation is what lifts dried footprints and kitchen splashes off tile. When the robot detects carpet, it raises the pads automatically so a wet pad is not dragged across a rug on the way to the next room; JONR lists both carpet detection and auto mop lift as features of this model, but does not publish the lift height in millimetres.
After the run the robot docks, the pads are scrubbed with clean water and the waste is pumped into the dirty tank, and the pads are then air-dried in the station. JONR does not state how long the drying cycle takes.
LDS laser navigation and 200 m² of maps
A spinning laser turret on top of the JONR T5 Lite measures the room as it goes. That is still the most reliable way for a robot to build an accurate floor plan on the first run, and JONR gives it 200 m² of map memory, enough for a large apartment or one floor of a villa. From the map you can divide rooms, set no-go zones and send the robot to clean one room only.
Scheduling lives in the app, so the robot can run while the house is empty and be dry and docked before anyone is back.
App, Wi-Fi and voice control
JONR states that the JONR T5 Lite is managed through the Mi Home app over 2.4GHz Wi-Fi. That is the frequency to check on your router: a 5GHz-only network will not see the robot. Remote start, scheduling, room selection and no-go zones are all set from the phone.
JONR lists voice control on the product page but does not name the assistant, so we do not promise Alexa or Google Assistant support for this model.
Battery, runtime and what is in the box
The battery is a 2,600mAh pack in a 4s1p arrangement, and JONR quotes 130 minutes of runtime without tying it to a mode, so expect less than that at full suction. Charging time is not published. JONR lists the weight as 7.7kg without stating whether that is the robot alone or the robot with its station.
In the box, according to JONR: the JONR T5 Lite robot, the base station, the clean-water and waste-water tanks, a side brush, two mop pads, the dust box and a HEPA filter.
Who This Is Not For
Anyone who wants a hands-off dust bin should look elsewhere: the JONR T5 Lite has no self-emptying, so you empty the dust box yourself. There is no hot-water wash and no hot-air drying, so on humid days the pads take longer to dry than on a heated dock. JONR has not published the dust box size, the charging time or the mop-lift height, and its two suction figures do not agree.
The app is Mi Home rather than a JONR app, the Wi-Fi is 2.4GHz only, and JONR does not name a voice assistant. If you need a specific figure for how high the pads lift on a thick rug, or a guaranteed 8,000Pa, this is not the model to buy on that basis.

FAQ
Does the JONR T5 Lite empty its own dust box?
No. The dock washes and air-dries the mop pads only; you empty the dust box by hand.
Does the dock use hot water or hot air?
No. JONR lists mop self-cleaning and air drying for this model, with no hot water and no hot air.
What is the suction of the JONR T5 Lite?
8,000Pa in JONR’s feature list, and up to 4,000Pa in JONR’s product summary on the same page. JONR does not reconcile the two.
How long does it run per charge?
130 minutes according to JONR, with no mode specified. Charging time is not published.
Does it lift the mops on carpet?
Yes. JONR lists carpet detection and automatic mop lift, but does not publish the lift height.
Which app controls it?
The Mi Home app over 2.4GHz Wi-Fi, according to JONR. 5GHz-only networks will not connect.
How much water do the dock tanks hold?
4 litres of clean water and 4 litres of waste water.
Is the JONR T5 Lite the same as the JONR T5 Pro Gen 2?
No. The T5 Pro Gen 2 adds a self-emptying dust bag and hot-air drying; the T5 Lite has neither.
