Redragon SHIVA K512 Black – RGB Membrane Gaming Keyboard, 104 Keys, 6 Macro Keys, Wrist Rest

Redragon SHIVA K512 Black is the full-size RGB keyboard Redragon built for people who want mechanical-style feedback without mechanical noise or mechanical prices – 104 keys, six dedicated macro keys, real media controls and a detachable wrist rest, finished in the classic black finish. Sealed and stocked in the UAE by Totot.

Membrane With a Mechanical Feel

The K512 uses linear mechanical-feel membrane switches, and the distinction matters. A standard office membrane goes mushy at the bottom of the press; these are tuned with a defined actuation and a consistent return, so typing has a rhythm to it. What you gain over a true mechanical board is silence – this is the keyboard to buy if you share a room, stream with an open microphone, or work late. Rated to 10 million keystrokes, it will outlast most budget mechanical boards.

Six Macro Keys That Work Without Software

A column of six programmable keys, G1 to G6, sits to the left of the main block. They record on the fly – press the record combination, type the sequence, press again – and the macro saves to the keyboard itself. No driver has to be running, and the macros survive being plugged into a different computer. For MMO players that is a raid rotation on a single key; for everyone else it is passwords, shortcuts and repeated phrases.

RGB and Dedicated Media Controls

Full dynamic RGB backlighting ships with seven preset modes plus six customisable slots, with brightness and speed adjustable from the board. Above the numpad sit genuine dedicated media keys – play, pause, skip and a volume control – rather than FN combinations, so you change track without leaving the game. Anti-ghosting covers 26 simultaneous key presses, which is far more than any realistic input combination requires.

Wrist Rest and Everyday Durability

The detachable wrist rest is the feature people underestimate: on a full-size board your wrist sits at a sharper angle than on a compact one, and the rest flattens that out over a long session. Keycaps are double-shot injection moulded, so the legends are a separate piece of plastic rather than paint – they cannot wear off. Adjustable feet give two typing angles, and a braided cable resists the kinking that kills cheap keyboards first.

Who Should Buy It

Buy this if you want one keyboard for gaming and real work, need a numpad, and would rather not annoy everyone around you. It is a particularly good pick for shared bedrooms, offices and streaming setups. If you specifically want the click and the crisp tactile bump of true mechanical switches, buy a mechanical board instead – membrane feel is close but it is not identical, and this listing is honest about that.

Redragon SHIVA K512 Black: Keyboard Layout and Language

One point to be clear on before you order: Redragon SHIVA K512 Black ships in the US English (QWERTY) layout only. The keycaps carry English legends and are not printed with Arabic characters, and there is no Arabic-printed version of this model.

This does not stop you typing in Arabic. Windows and macOS both let you add Arabic as a second input language and switch with a keyboard shortcut, so the keyboard types Arabic perfectly well – you simply will not see the Arabic letters printed on the keys. If you specifically need Arabic legends on the keycaps, this is not the right model for you and we would rather tell you now than have you return it.

FAQ – Redragon SHIVA K512 Black

Is Redragon SHIVA K512 Black an original sealed product?

Yes. Every Redragon SHIVA K512 Black we ship is 100% original Redragon stock sourced through authorised distribution, sealed in its retail box – never a refurbished unit or an unchecked grey import.

Is this a mechanical keyboard?

No, and the listing will not pretend otherwise. It is a membrane keyboard tuned for a mechanical-style linear feel, which is why it is quiet and affordable.

Do the macro keys need software?

No. G1 to G6 record directly on the keyboard and the macros are stored in onboard memory, so they work on any computer.

Can I remove the wrist rest?

Yes, it clips off completely if you prefer the keyboard without it.

Does it work with PS5 or Xbox?

It is a standard USB keyboard and will be recognised where a console supports USB keyboard input, but it is designed for PC and Mac.
