The Razer Cobra Pro is Razer’s compact wireless gaming mouse with three ways to connect: HyperSpeed 2.4 GHz wireless, Bluetooth, and a USB-C cable. It weighs 77 g, uses the Focus Pro 30K optical sensor rated at 30,000 DPI and 750 IPS, and clicks through Razer’s third-generation optical switches. Eleven zones of Chroma RGB, including an underglow strip, give it more lighting than most mice its size, and battery life reaches up to 170 hours on Bluetooth.

Razer Cobra Pro: Three Ways to Connect
A slider on the underside switches between HyperSpeed wireless and Bluetooth. HyperSpeed uses the small USB dongle in the box and is the mode for gaming, with a 1,000 Hz polling rate. Bluetooth needs no dongle at all, which makes it the easy option for a laptop in a meeting room or a tablet on the sofa.
When the battery runs down, plug in the included Speedflex USB-C cable and keep playing wired. The dongle has its own storage compartment under the removable puck cover on the base, so it does not get lost in a laptop bag.
Focus Pro 30K Sensor and Gen-3 Optical Switches
Razer’s master guide rates the Focus Pro 30K optical sensor at a maximum of 30,000 DPI, 750 IPS tracking speed and 70 G acceleration. That is well beyond what anyone needs for day-to-day aiming, and it means the sensor will not be the limit in fast shooters.
The main buttons use Razer Optical Mouse Switches Gen-3, rated for 90 million clicks. Optical switches register a click with light rather than a metal contact, which is why they are not prone to the double-click fault that wears out many mechanical mouse switches over time.
Controls, Profiles and Chroma RGB
Razer lists 10 customizable controls on the Razer Cobra Pro, and the master guide counts 8 programmable buttons: left and right click, the scroll wheel, two side buttons, DPI up and down, and a profile button. Up to five profiles can be saved to onboard memory, so your settings follow the mouse to another PC without installing software.
The lighting covers the scroll wheel, the logo and a multi-zone underglow, for 11 zones in total that you control in Razer Synapse. When the battery drops below 5%, the scroll wheel blinks red twice at repeated intervals as a warning.
Battery Life and Charging on the Razer Cobra Pro
Razer quotes up to 170 hours on Bluetooth and up to 100 hours on HyperSpeed wireless. If you add the optional HyperPolling Wireless Dongle for up to 4,000 Hz polling, that figure drops to around 33 hours, which is the trade-off for the higher polling rate.
Besides USB-C charging, the Razer Cobra Pro supports wireless charging with the Razer Mouse Dock Pro or the Razer Wireless Charging Puck, both sold separately. Feet are 100% PTFE for a smooth glide.
Razer Cobra Pro or the Wired Razer Cobra?
We also carry the wired Razer Cobra, a separate, cable-only model. Choose the Razer Cobra Pro if you want wireless play, Bluetooth for a second device, onboard profiles and wireless charging support; choose the wired Cobra if the mouse never leaves your desk and you prefer not to charge it.
Who This Is Not For
Left-handed players should look elsewhere: the side buttons sit on the left only. At 77 g it is light, but not the lightest; players chasing a sub-60 g mouse for low-sensitivity shooters will find lighter options.
Razer Synapse, the software for lighting, remapping and profiles, requires Windows 10 64-bit or higher, so Mac users can use the mouse but not customise it fully. And 4,000 Hz polling needs an extra dongle or dock that is not in the box.
