The Huawei Watch GT 6 41mm is the smaller version of HUAWEI’s GT 6 smartwatch, with a 41.3 × 41.3 mm case, a thickness of 9.99 mm and a weight of about 37.5 g without the strap, made for wrists from 120 to 180 mm. This version is Purple with a fluoroelastomer strap, a material better suited to sport and water than leather. HUAWEI rates the battery at up to 7 days of typical use, and the watch brings dual-band GPS along with heart rate, sleep and blood oxygen tracking.

The 41mm size and the purple finish
The clearest difference between the Huawei Watch GT 6 41mm and the 46mm version is size. The smaller case stays within the width of a slim wrist, so it does not overhang the sides or catch on sleeves, and it is more comfortable to sleep in with overnight sleep tracking. Purple is the more expressive of the 41mm options; the other version comes with a white leather strap. It reads more like an accessory than a gadget and pairs well with sportswear and neutral colours. Because the strap is replaceable, you can switch to something quieter for formal occasions.
Display and case
The Huawei Watch GT 6 41mm has a 1.32-inch colour AMOLED display at 466 × 466 pixels and 352 PPI, sharp enough for short notifications and workout data at a glance. HUAWEI does not publish a peak brightness figure for the 41mm display; the 3,000-nit figure in its materials belongs to the 1.47-inch screen on the 46mm model. The case is stainless steel, rated 5ATM under ISO 22810:2010 and IP69. HUAWEI notes that 5ATM does not mean diving to 50 metres; it covers swimming in a pool or shallow coastal water.
Battery, by HUAWEI’s numbers
The Huawei Watch GT 6 41mm has a smaller battery than the 46mm version, and these are HUAWEI’s lab figures for it: up to 14 days of light use; up to 7 days of typical use, which assumes 180 minutes of workouts a week, 30 minutes of screen-on time a day and continuous heart rate monitoring; up to 5 days with the always-on display; and up to 25 hours of outdoor workouts with GPS. It charges on the wireless charging cradle in the box, and HUAWEI does not state a full charging time.
Health and sport
The watch tracks heart rate continuously, measures SpO2 on demand, follows sleep stages and breathing rate at night, and monitors stress and heart rate variability (HRV) through the day, with alerts for possible atrial fibrillation for users over 18. These are wellness features, not a medical device. For sport there are 100+ workout modes, dual-band L1+L5 GPS with GLONASS, BeiDou, Galileo, QZSS and NavIC, cycling power estimation without a power meter, and advanced running metrics. Sensors include a barometer, a magnetometer and a temperature sensor.
Connectivity and compatibility
The Huawei Watch GT 6 41mm works with Android 9 or later and iOS 13 or later through the Huawei Health app. It connects over Bluetooth 6.0, has NFC, and includes a microphone and speaker for Bluetooth calls while paired with your phone. HUAWEI lists some limits with an iPhone: you cannot sync music to the watch, and emergency SOS requests are not sent. Some features also vary by country. All your health and workout data is gathered in the same app, so you can follow trends over weeks and months.
Who This Is Not For
The Huawei Watch GT 6 41mm is not for anyone who wants the longest possible battery: the 46mm version reaches up to 12 days of typical use against 7 days here. It is not for people who want a large app store like Wear OS or watchOS. iPhone users lose music sync and SOS requests. Water resistance does not cover diving, saunas or hot showers. If you read long messages on your wrist, the bigger screen on the 46mm version may suit you better.
