Just Dance 2023 Switch in this US retail box is the Code in a Box version of Ubisoft’s Just Dance 2023 Edition: there is no cartridge inside, only a download code for the full game. Once redeemed, you get 40 songs, a redesigned interface, personalised sessions and online multiplayer for up to six dancers on Nintendo Switch.

Code in a Box: What You Actually Get
Ubisoft states clearly that the box for this edition contains no cartridge, CD or disc. Inside is a code that you redeem to download the game. Redeeming it needs an internet connection, a Ubisoft Account and your console account, according to the official Ubisoft page. After the download, Just Dance 2023 Switch is tied to your Nintendo Account, not to a physical card, so you cannot lend the game by handing over a cartridge.
This is the US edition, packaged for the North American market with an ESRB label. Keep this in mind if you plan to redeem it on an account set to another region.
40 Songs in Just Dance 2023 Switch
Ubisoft lists 40 tracks in the base game of Just Dance 2023 Switch, including Dynamite by BTS. Each song comes with its own choreography performed by animated coaches, and the publisher says the 2023 Edition introduced 3D immersive worlds behind the dancers. Through the year Ubisoft also added seasons with new songs and modes, such as Season 3: Beach, Summer and Vampires.
Beyond the base list there is Just Dance+, Ubisoft’s streaming service with an ever-growing song catalogue. It is a separate paid subscription bought in the game, not part of this code.
Online Multiplayer and Private Groups
Just Dance 2023 Switch puts online play at the centre of what Ubisoft calls a new era of dance. You can host a private group and invite up to five friends from your friends list, which makes six dancers in total, each in their own home. Online play on Switch needs a Nintendo Account and a paid Nintendo Switch Online membership. Locally, everyone dances in the same room, and Nintendo notes that multiplayer needs one compatible controller per player.
A New Interface and Personalised Sessions
Ubisoft rebuilt the menus for this edition. Playlists, game modes and songs are one click away, and the game suggests personalised sessions and songs based on your preferences and playing habits. Your progress and scores are tracked on your account, so Just Dance 2023 Switch remembers your history across sessions. The publisher describes the 2023 Edition as an on-demand dancing platform rather than a single yearly song pack.
Who Should Buy Just Dance 2023 Switch
Families who already own a Nintendo Switch with a reliable internet connection get the full game at a lower entry price than many cartridges, and the download stays on the console ready to play. The game runs in TV, tabletop and handheld modes, but dancing works best on the TV with a Joy-Con in hand. If you enjoy dancing with friends who live elsewhere, Just Dance 2023 Switch has the online groups for that.
Who This Is Not For
Because the Just Dance 2023 Switch box contains only a download code, you need an internet connection, a Nintendo Account with eShop access, a Ubisoft Account and enough free storage on your console or microSD card to install the game; the download size is not published on the official pages we checked. You cannot resell or lend the game as a cartridge once the code is used. Online sessions require a paid Nintendo Switch Online membership, and Just Dance+ songs cost extra. Nintendo also notes that on Nintendo Switch Lite the experience may differ and extra controllers may be required.
Ordering in the UAE
The box is delivered to any address in the UAE in up to 3 business days, and shipping is free for orders of AED 300 and above. You can settle the order with cash on delivery, Tabby or Tamara. A box that arrives defective, or that is not the edition you ordered, can be returned within 14 days, and we ask you to report any shipping damage within 48 hours.
