JBL rates the woofer at 30 W RMS and the separate tweeter at 15 W RMS, with a frequency response from 56 Hz to 20 kHz (-6 dB). AI Sound Boost analyses the music continuously and drives the speakers to their limit while keeping distortion down, which matters when you turn it up outdoors and there are no walls to help the bass. You can shape the sound in the JBL Portable app, and an over-the-air update adds lossless audio over USB-C from a compatible source.
