The case is Satin Pyrite, a warm metal tone between brass and bronze with a soft satin sheen; it is the same case Google uses on the Olive model, so the Special Edition is defined by its band. Google describes the band as being made from recycled polyester yarns with a water-repellent coating and stainless steel lugs, with a raised print on the inside to let air move against the skin. The colours come from Curry’s signature palette: rye tones with flashes of game-day orange. The result looks more like a textile sports strap than the smooth silicone Active Band on the classic colours.
