HUAWEI MatePad 11.5 PaperMatte Edition 8GB/256GB Wi-Fi Space Gray + M-Pencil (3rd Gen) + Smart Keyboard – TDRA UAE Version, Anti-Glare 2.5K 120 Hz Screen, 10,100 mAh, 40 W

The MatePad 11.5 PaperMatte M-Pencil Bundle Gray puts three things in one box: the HUAWEI MatePad 11.5 2025 PaperMatte Edition with 8GB of RAM and 256GB of storage in Space Gray, the HUAWEI M-Pencil (3rd generation), and the HUAWEI Smart Keyboard made only for this tablet. It suits people who take handwritten notes in meetings or lectures and then type them up: managers marking up PDFs, engineers sketching ideas, and university students. This is the TDRA-approved UAE version.

MatePad 11.5 PaperMatte M-Pencil Bundle Gray: Space Gray for work

Space Gray is the neutral finish of the MatePad 11.5 2025 range, the other being Violet. A mid-grey back sits naturally next to most work laptops and phones, and darker tones hide light scuffs on the edges as the tablet goes in and out of a bag every day. The MatePad 11.5 PaperMatte M-Pencil Bundle Gray is the safer choice if the tablet will sit on a boardroom table, a lab bench or a corporate desk; Violet is the more personal option for students and home use. Either way the PaperMatte glass is the same, and the polishing cloth in the box keeps the matte surface clean.

Writing on the MatePad 11.5 PaperMatte M-Pencil Bundle Gray

Huawei lists the MatePad 11.5 2025 (model TXZ) as supported by the M-Pencil (3rd generation). It snaps magnetically onto the tablet, pairs and charges wirelessly there, and a double-tap on the barrel switches between brush and eraser. Huawei quotes 10,000+ pressure levels on supported tablets running HarmonyOS 4 or later. Take Snippet lets you circle part of the screen to save it as an image, or extract text from an image in supported apps and languages, and Show Comments turns the pen into a laser pointer or whiteboard marker while you share your screen. The tip is replaceable.

PaperMatte: reading under office lights

The PaperMatte Edition uses nano-level etched glass. Huawei measures its reflectivity at about 2%, against 4.8% to 5% for common LCD tablets, and says it cuts screen reflection by 60% in its lab conditions. Under bright ceiling panels that means fewer mirror-like reflections when you review contracts or long PDFs, and the textured surface gives the nib a little grip. The panel is an 11.5-inch IPS LCD at 2456 x 1600 and 256 PPI, refreshing at up to 120 Hz. The SGS Low Visual Fatigue 2.0 and TUV Rheinland circular polarisation certificates apply to the PaperMatte Edition only. For anyone who reads more than they write, this screen is the main reason to pick the MatePad 11.5 PaperMatte M-Pencil Bundle Gray over a glossy tablet.

Typing on the MatePad 11.5 PaperMatte M-Pencil Bundle Gray keyboard

When notes need to become an email or report, the Smart Keyboard gives 1.5 mm of key travel and 15 mm keycaps, with more than 40 shortcut combinations in certain apps. It works in laptop form with a stand, or in split form where the keyboard is used apart from the tablet. It weighs about 435 g, so the full set is roughly 950 g, heavier than the tablet alone. Huawei states this keyboard is only compatible with the MatePad 11.5 2025, so it will not move to another tablet later.

Battery, charging and the rest of the MatePad 11.5 PaperMatte M-Pencil Bundle Gray

The battery is 10,100 mAh typical, and Huawei quotes up to 14 hours of local 1080p video at about 200 nits in its lab. Wired charging reaches 40 W with a HUAWEI SuperCharge charger; Huawei notes the charger in the box varies by market. The body is 6.1 mm thick and about 515 g. You get four speakers with HUAWEI Histen 9.0, Wi-Fi 6 at 2×2 MIMO, Bluetooth 5.2 with LDAC, a 13 MP rear camera with autofocus and an 8 MP front camera, both recording 1080p video.

Who This Is Not For

The MatePad 11.5 PaperMatte M-Pencil Bundle Gray is not a Windows laptop: it runs HarmonyOS 4.3 with HUAWEI AppGallery, so check that the apps you rely on are available there or work in a browser. It is Wi-Fi only with no SIM slot and no GPS. Cameras record at 1080p, not 4K. Huawei does not name the processor. The keyboard fits only the MatePad 11.5 2025, and if you never write by hand the pen adds cost you will not use.
