The CMF Buds Neo White are the light, clean-looking version of CMF by Nothing’s budget noise-cancelling earbuds. White looks fresh on a desk next to a laptop and is the easiest case to find at the bottom of a dark bag. For work and calls, the CMF Buds Neo White have a lot to offer: the microphones use ENC to filter background noise for the person you are talking to, the earbuds can stay connected to two devices at once, and talk time reaches up to 25 hours with the case. Nothing also lists up to 35dB of ANC, Bluetooth 5.4 and IP54 earbuds.

The White finish in daily use
The CMF Buds Neo White have a plastic housing that Nothing describes as tough and resistant to sun exposure, with silicone ear tips and stainless steel hinges on the case. White suits light desks, white or silver laptops and pale phone cases, and it reads as neat and modern in a meeting. The trade-off is that it shows marks: denim dye, pen ink and grime from a pocket will appear on a white case sooner than on Black or Dark Blue. A dry, soft cloth keeps it clean, and carrying it in its own pocket rather than loose with keys helps. The knob on the case has a lanyard hole if you prefer to hang it from a bag.
Calls and two devices at once
For calls, the CMF Buds Neo White use ENC, environmental noise cancellation, which filters ambient sound picked up by the microphone so the person on the other end hears your voice rather than the room around you. Talk time is up to 5 hours from the earbuds with ANC off, or 4 hours with ANC on, and up to 25 or 21 hours with the case. Dual connection is supported, so the CMF Buds Neo White can stay linked to a laptop and a phone together, and they store up to 8 paired devices for switching between home and office. Nothing lists compatibility with Android 6.0 and above and iOS 13 and above.
Controls and Transparency mode
The CMF Buds Neo White use pinch or press controls. A single press plays or pauses music and answers or ends a call; a double press skips to the next track or rejects a call; a triple press goes back a track; pressing and holding switches between noise cancellation and Transparency; and a double press then hold changes the volume. The actions can be changed in the Nothing X app. Transparency is useful in an open office, letting a colleague’s question through without taking an earbud out, and you can also wear just one earbud while the other charges.
Who the White suits
The CMF Buds Neo White are for people who spend their day between calls, online classes and a laptop: office workers, students and anyone who works from home. White looks tidy on camera in video calls and matches the light setups many of them use. They also suit anyone who likes the case to be easy to spot. If you know the case will live with keys in a pocket or a gym bag, Black or Dark Blue will look newer for longer.
The rest, in brief
On the CMF Buds Neo White, ANC reaches up to 35dB, with an Adaptive mode that adjusts to the noise around you. Music playback is up to 11 hours from the earbuds and 52 hours with the case with ANC off, or 8 and 30 hours with ANC on (Nothing lab tests, AAC at 50% volume). The CMF Buds Neo White earbuds are rated IP54, the case is not waterproof, and there is no wireless charging. Sound settings in Nothing X include five EQ presets, Custom EQ, Bass Enhancement and Spatial Audio.
Who This Is Not For
The CMF Buds Neo White are not for anyone who wants a case that stays spotless with no care: white shows dye and dirt sooner than the darker colours. They support only AAC and SBC, without LDAC or LE Audio, the case has no wireless charging and no water resistance, and the earbuds’ IP54 rating does not cover swimming or showers. Nothing does not publish microphone count or call-quality figures beyond ENC.
