The Fitbit Air Berry pairs Google’s screenless tracker with the brightest of its standard bands: a woven Performance Loop in a rich red-pink shade, finished with a polished champagne gold stainless steel buckle. Underneath is the same small tracker found in every Fitbit Air, rated by Google for up to 7 days per charge and water resistance to 50 m, with all your data shown in the Google Health app rather than on the wrist.

The Berry Colour and Its Champagne Gold Buckle
Berry is a warm, saturated red that leans towards pink, and the woven yarn gives it depth instead of a plain plastic look. It is the only standard Fitbit Air band with a champagne gold buckle, and that one detail makes the Fitbit Air Berry read more like a bracelet than a piece of fitness equipment.
Like the other standard colours, it is Google’s Performance Loop: a stretchy weave of recycled polyester and elastane with a recycled stainless steel buckle, made to fit wrists from 130 to 210 mm. There are no holes to choose between; the loop tightens in small steps, so a slim wrist and a broad one both get a snug, even fit.
Who the Fitbit Air Berry Suits — and How It Ages
Choose the Fitbit Air Berry if you want the tracker to be part of your outfit. The champagne gold sits comfortably beside gold, rose-gold or two-tone watches and rings, and the red-pink band lifts neutral clothes — black, white, denim, beige — where a dark strap would simply vanish. It also makes an easy gift: the colour looks chosen on purpose, and the one-size loop takes the guesswork out of wrist size.
On day-to-day wear, a mid-tone like Berry hides everyday dust better than pale Fog or Lavender, but it is less forgiving than Obsidian. Make-up, fake tan and sunscreen can leave visible marks on a bright textile, so rinse the loop in plain water when that happens and let it dry off the wrist. Google also suggests giving your wrist a rest by taking the band off now and then.
Berry does not lock you in, either. The tracker pebble presses out of the loop, and Google describes switching bands as a matter of seconds: press the pebble in, click, and go.
One Small Tracker, Read on Your Phone
The Fitbit Air Berry has no screen, no buttons to learn and nothing to light up at night. It collects data quietly and sends it over Bluetooth 5.0 to the Google Health app, which you need on a phone running Android 11 or newer or iOS 16.4 or newer, together with a Google Account. Google gives a syncing range of up to 30 ft, roughly 9 m.
Forget your phone for a few days and nothing is lost: the tracker stores a week of minute-by-minute motion data, a month of daily totals, and heart rate sampled every 2 seconds. The pebble is 34.9 mm long, 17 mm wide and 8.3 mm thick, weighs 5.2 g, and is built from recycled polycarbonate and PBT plastics. With the band on, the total is 12 g.
Health Data Included at No Extra Cost
Everything below works with the free Google Health app. For activity, the Fitbit Air Berry records steps, calories, distance, Cardio load and a daily Readiness figure. Overnight it builds a Sleep Score with sleep stages, duration and schedule. And around the clock it follows heart rate, heart rate variability, breathing rate and blood oxygen (SpO2).
The hardware behind those numbers is an optical heart rate monitor, a 3-axis accelerometer with gyroscope, red and infrared sensors for SpO2, a device temperature sensor and a vibration motor. Google adds that the tracker watches your heart rhythm while you are resting or asleep for signs of AFib; health notifications like this are enabled by Google per country, so check the Google Health app on your own account.
Coaching Subscription: What UAE Buyers Should Know
The paid tier, Google Health Premium, brings the Gemini-built Google Health Coach, weekly fitness plans and workouts tailored to your goals, and sleep summaries with coaching insights. A new Fitbit Air comes with three months of Premium from Google, and members must be over 18.
However, the UAE does not appear on Google’s published list of countries for Google Health Premium. The Fitbit Air Berry tracking described above does not need it, so judge it on the free features first.
Charging, Battery Life and Swimming
Google rates the lithium-polymer battery for up to 7 days; heavier use and different settings shorten that. Charging takes about 90 minutes from empty to full, and five minutes on the cable gives roughly a day of use — handy if you top it up while getting ready in the morning. A USB-C charging cable is in the box; a wall adapter is not.
Water resistance goes up to 50 metres, so the band can stay on in the shower or the pool. Dry the textile afterwards so the Berry colour does not sit damp against your skin all day.
Who This Is Not For
The Fitbit Air Berry is the wrong choice if you want the time, messages or live heart rate on your wrist; there is no display. Google does not list built-in GPS, so runners who leave the phone at home will not get a mapped route. If you are buying mainly for the AI coach, note that Premium is not on Google’s UAE list. And if you would rather your tracker went unnoticed in a formal setting, Obsidian with its matte black buckle is the quieter option.

FAQ
Is the Fitbit Air Berry buckle gold?
Yes, polished champagne gold stainless steel. It is the only standard Fitbit Air colour with a gold-tone buckle.
Is Berry red or pink?
Both, in a way: it is a saturated red with a pink lean, woven so the shade has some texture.
Will make-up or sunscreen stain the Berry band?
Yes, they can mark a bright textile. Rinse the loop with plain water and let it air-dry; Obsidian is the better choice if you would rather not bother.
Is the Fitbit Air Berry a good gift?
Yes. The band is one size for wrists 130–210 mm, so you do not need to know the wearer’s wrist size.
Is the tracker inside the Fitbit Air Berry different?
No. The tracker is identical across Obsidian, Berry, Fog and Lavender; only the band colour and buckle finish change.
Can I use the Google Health Coach in the UAE?
No, not officially. The UAE is not on Google’s published country list for Google Health Premium.
Can I wear the Fitbit Air Berry while swimming?
Yes. Google rates it water resistant up to 50 m; dry the band afterwards.
How fast does the Fitbit Air Berry charge?
90 minutes for a full charge, and 5 minutes gives about one day.
