The Green Lion Qi2.2 Tri Charge is a foldable 3-in-1 wireless charger that holds an iPhone magnetically and charges an Apple Watch and AirPods at the same time. Green Lion’s model number is GWC-12, and this is the gray version. The phone pad supports up to 25W under the Qi2.2 standard, the watch charger up to 5W and the earbuds pad 5W. Folded, it measures 24 x 59 x 78 mm and weighs 138 g, so it can go from the bedside table into a travel bag.

Green Lion Qi2.2 Tri Charge: What Each Pad Delivers
Green Lion lists the outputs of the Green Lion Qi2.2 Tri Charge pad by pad. The magnetic phone pad delivers 25W, 15W, 10W or 7.5W, depending on what the phone accepts. The watch charger gives up to 5W, and the earbuds pad 5W.
Qi2.2 is the newer version of the magnetic Qi2 standard that allows up to 25W. Green Lion does not state which iPhone models reach the full 25W, and the phone always decides the speed it takes, so older iPhones charge at the lower steps.
Power In: Why the Adapter Matters
The charger takes power through USB-C and accepts 9V 3A, 12V 3A or 15V 3A. Green Lion’s guide recommends a 15V 3A fast charger (45W) to charge all three devices at once at the fastest speed. With a 9V 3A or 12V 3A adapter, the Green Lion Qi2.2 Tri Charge only provides normal charging speeds.
The box contains the charger and a 1 m USB-C to USB-C cable; no wall adapter is listed, so plan to use a USB-C PD charger you already own or buy one rated 15V 3A.
Foldable Zinc Alloy Design
The body combines ABS plastic with zinc alloy, and the phone pad uses 16 N52 magnets to hold an iPhone in place. Folded, the Green Lion Qi2.2 Tri Charge is 24 x 59 x 78 mm; Green Lion lists the opened size as 12 x 59 x 178 mm. At 138 g it is easy to carry on trips, where one charger and one cable replace three.
The gray finish suits most desks and nightstands, and the folded shape lies flat in a backpack pocket.
Compatible Devices
Green Lion lists iPhone models from iPhone 12 mini through iPhone 17 Pro Max for the magnetic pad. For the watch charger, it lists Apple Watch Series 2 to Series 11, SE, Ultra, Ultra 2, Nike and Hermes editions. The earbuds pad works with AirPods 2 to 4 and AirPods Pro models in a wireless charging case; first-generation AirPods are not included.
Android phones are not on Green Lion’s compatibility list for the Green Lion Qi2.2 Tri Charge.
Getting the Best Charging Results
Green Lion gives a few practical rules. Remove phone cases thicker than 3 mm, and keep metal or magnetic objects at least 6 cm away from the centre of the back while charging. Do not charge in very hot or humid places.
Temperature also changes speed: Green Lion notes that charging is faster at lower temperatures and is usually slower in summer than in winter, something worth knowing in a UAE bedroom without air conditioning.
Who This Is Not For
The Green Lion Qi2.2 Tri Charge is not for Android users, since Green Lion’s compatibility list covers iPhone, Apple Watch and AirPods only. It is not for owners of first-generation AirPods or iPhones older than the iPhone 12 series, which lack the magnetic alignment.
It also does not include a wall adapter, and with an adapter below 15V 3A you lose the fastest speeds. If you use a thick or metal-plated phone case, the charger may not work properly until you remove it.
