The 1.62-Inch AMOLED Screen
The screen measures 1.62 inches, with 286 x 482 pixels at 347 PPI and a 60Hz refresh rate. Huawei says it is 27% larger than the Band 10 screen and reaches up to 2000 nits of brightness, so it stays readable in direct UAE sunlight. An ambient light sensor adjusts the brightness for you.
On the black version, a dark watch face blends into the black frame and strap, which makes the band look like one smooth piece. AMOLED pixels switch off to show black, so darker faces also use less battery.
Autonomous GNSS and 100+ Workouts
The headline feature is autonomous GNSS positioning. The HUAWEI Band 11 Pro can record the route, distance and pace of an outdoor run, walk or ride from its own satellite receiver, rather than borrowing the location from your phone. Huawei rates the battery at up to 14 days of light use with heart-rate monitoring on and TruSleep off, up to 8 days of typical use, and up to 3 days with the always-on display. GNSS workouts and bright screens shorten these figures. Charging is magnetic at 5V 1A; Huawei does not publish a full charging time.
The band is rated 5 ATM under ISO 22810:2010, which means it is fine for swimming in a pool and showering, but not for diving or high-speed water sports. It works with Android 9.0 or later and iOS 13.0 or later through the HUAWEI Health app, and connects over Bluetooth 6.0 and BLE.
